Kind of disappointed Ez got a star guardian skin

Like I don't care he did, what I'm upset about is that you used the "magical girl" theme from anime, mainly sailor moon, instead of developing a skin line for the more male appropriate skin. like your going with anime already, why not give Ez a DBZ styled skin and make a separate skin line for such thing. Yeah sailor moon was popular , 20 years ago. The legacy of shows like DBZ a fighting based anime is still airing today and is as hype today as it was before. Ez would have been perfect for it too. Just seems stupid to give him a magical girl skin instead of planet busting fighter skin. That's my two cents.

Ezreal isn't really a fighter type though. Not sure how well he'd fit into a DBZ-inspired skin line as a slippery arcane user who relies on magic and wits to get things done rather than sheer strength and power.

Sailor moon make such a change around the world and maked anime famous on the world, Dragon ball was just a shonen, we can say right now that it is a 6/10 and it just appealed to the young boys so i think dragon ball doesn't deserve a skin line

Completely right. Sailor Moon set the standard and created the tropes followed by shoujo and magical girl anime. It's also one of few which made it big that is meant for girls.

Dragonball is about the most basic of all shonen, and one of its contemporaries (Yu Yu Hakusho) did a lot more for the shonen genre than DBZ ever has.

Pretty sure a lot magical girl animes have one magical guy in them who is the love interest and/or rival of the protagonist.

You are right, but that magical guy is never part of the girl team. They are someone else, different costume and powers, which is why Ez should only have been included if they did a Tuxedo Mask skin for him. This skin line was loaded with fails, and Ez as a Guardian was one of the biggest ones.

I'm not sure what anime it was, but someone mentioned that Star Guardian Ezreal was inspired from a different show. And not Sailor Moon.

I had to search to find any info on Star Driver, which turns out to be a one season anime without even a manga series or light novel. They base the only guy in a a skin line that clearly pays homage to Sailor Moon, to a one hit wonder series rather than an iconic figure in anime. Still a fail. I'm not a fan of the Star Guardian line, but as a longtime anime fan appreciated the tribute the first line provided. The second release is just garbage.

I don't see how Ezreal would fit a dbz skin, considering that dbz is full of buff guys, wheras ez is rather meager(at least physically)

Ezreal's star guardian skin is not feminine at all, it fits him very good and gives kingdom hearts/final fantasy hype
