They just want to wipe out life completely from the entire universe and torn apart the realities <3 How cute and lovely <3 More innocent than baby bunnies.
And promptly die as your body is absorbed in to it.
Let me be serious for a moment here: Darkstars aren't evil, for real.
They're simply the physical manifestation of entropy in a magical world. Even though they possess distinct personalities, they exist and act out of sheer necessity in order to bring forth the inevitable heat death of the universe (which is a completely natural process).
Sure, it really sucks when it's your planet's turn to literally fall into oblivion, but can the dirt blame the rain that washed it away?
