It would depend on which is larger, the Dark Star or the gaping void where my heart should be.

Well I mean the dark star is a star, so it's probably bigger.

Plus Thresh literally says:

"Stars culled of life, silent in the darkness." "I am the herald of reality's end." "I've destroyed realities. What threat is this beast?" "Great works, broken and destroyed." "Even the universe will grind to a halt." "Together, we shall watch the last star die." "Fine craftsmanship - for a dead people."

The Dark Star's own harbinger knows and professes that to be consumed is to die. The end. Annihilation.

Let me be serious for a moment here: Darkstars aren't evil, for real.

They're simply the physical manifestation of entropy in a magical world. Even though they possess distinct personalities, they exist and act out of sheer necessity in order to bring forth the inevitable heat death of the universe (which is a completely natural process).

Sure, it really sucks when it's your planet's turn to literally fall into oblivion, but can the dirt blame the rain that washed it away?

Well I dunno if they are really entropy incarnate,I mean sure Thresh calls himself entropy incarnate,but he might be just exaggerating.

However even then they might not be evil,I mean is a lion evil when he eats another animal?Just like that the DS simply devour planets,because that lies in their nature.

Maybe it's not scientific textbook entropy. Maybe it's more like the principle of destruction, the end of all things.
