I always thought it was vayne was suppose to be LOL's batman inspired champ, but after reading solcrushed's thread, it seems like a lot of people think Poppy has a strong batman vibe as well. Was riot intending this on purpose? Was it just something a lot of people interpreted from her because everyone knows who batman is.

The trope of a vengeful orphan, though epitomized in Batman, is by no means exclusive to him. Think of all of the characters obsessed with avenging their parents' deaths: Inigo Montoya, Harry Osborne, etc.
Having dead parents a Batman does not make.
