Why can't League have comedic lore?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I think that there occasionally needs to be comedy-based lore segments rather than just "everything's serious". We need some sillier moments to balance out all the emo and grit.

Now imagine Ezreal being mooched off of by, say, Lulu, with Pix being the one calling him a pedophile. (Okay, maybe not that extreme, but you get the idea.)
