Is there anything big happening for Freljord?

So far Riot has recreated lore based on the Champion's location such as and for Piltover and Zaun, for Demacia and and which represents a new race. But looking at the other regions, Freljord has been lacking with anything recently. I know Noxus is also lacking but with update on the way, their is probably a big chance we will get to see new Noxus lore then.

We haven't seen any new Freljord content released in a very long time. The latest Freljord champion was , released in 2014. Though was in fact born in Freljord, he isn't Freljordian anymore but now a spirit and a guardian of nature, and not a true Freljord champ (even in the universe page his region isn't Freljord).

The War of the Three Sisters lore sounded amazing but they didn't clean up properly and so many questions were left unanswered. Are they still planning for war? What other tribes are out there and are they independent from the 3 sisters? For a concept of a new champion, I want someone on Lissandra's side, a worshiper or another commander like Trundle. Someone else that follows her and to see how they act.

Do you think we'll get to see any Freljord content this year? Who knows what Riot will do to their lore. Heck I'm excited to see how they'll change it.
