Does the Varus update mean a Darkin event on the Horizon?

I think it was hinted at earlier, but does this mean that is around the corner?

Aatrox is getting updated too but that's not for a while yet. Dunno if I'd say "around the corner" but I could see it being packaged up pretty neatly into something.

Next year, summer is Aatrox rework release date, at least that is the plan that was mention by one of riot workers. In "new" Varus lore last line was a teaser for a new female Darkin. I do not heard or seen any information on new champion release date, but there will be one that is for sure (even 2, unless they decide to make Evelynn Darkin or any other old champion will become darkin like Varus )

Eve is clearly said to be a demon in her new lore and I doubt that they'd retcon her lore not even a year after it was updated.

I wouldn’t say on the horizon but who knows?

Well we are getting an Aatrox update next year and I think it is pretty likely for us to get a female darkin next year(as Varus meets his sister in Shurima,so riot has already something planned for her and it'd be a waste to not turn her into a champion)
