So weird question about vayne's lore.... but its a doozy

she rammed her arm into the mouth of that thing, and it says she got cut..

Just to kill it

But it turns things by biting right?

Is she gonna get a were-bug-thing skin?

Not really the core of my question but is vayne theoretically afflicted?

Well snakes don't inject venom unless they cling to the victim and inject their venom, getting scratched by their fangs won't do anything but cut you. If we assume that Therians use the same method, where hollow fangs connect to venom glands in the back of the throat and inject through having the fang embed in the victims flesh, then she didn't get any venom injected, thus she'd fine. At worst the cut might get an infection, but I don't think that would happen.

In terms of modern Lycanthropy conventions, (Even psuedolycanthropy like the creatures in this tale) it's generally a disease of magical nature that infects through saliva entering an open wound.

Similar to zombies for example. It's not like venom, but more like a hyperfictionalized pathogenic disease.

My thinking is, killing the monster in question (the would-be bride) dispelled the curse on her victim, and by consequence, her victim's victim (Vayne). Sort of a whole "the head-head vampire" kinda schtick.

idunno, is that how League lore works? It generally seems to be more in line with modernist versions of mythology, which tend to view things as a disease styled curse, so even if you kill the first those they sired will still be infected.

In addition, I think they if that was pertinant it would be explicitly made aware to the reader as the tone of the story was that she bordered on pure evil, and was clearly sadistic, so at least implicitly implying this type of thing would go miles to further cement this mindset.

Another note on vayne, did the demon that smiled at her actually curse her? Or did it even ever exists? I think that was good on part of the story although the writing was arguably flawed

What if she is actually cursed now? I mean that thing that bit her was a shapechanger,Vayne might not realize that she was turned as long as she has no idea how to activate her transformation.

Alternatively there might be some other condition other than the bite to cause someone to transform.

that's kinda teh gist is that she might be infected.

It'd also be a cool skin to see a werebugthing vayne (Therian)

Yeah I wonder how she'd react to it,considering how much she hates these monsters. It could lead to some interesting character development for her.

Also sounds kinda interesting to have a Van-Helsing like character who actually got infected by one(or maybe even several) monster curses.

l think shed just go full on evil, I mean she practically is just full evil but she focuses it in a way that she can internalize (That's the vibe I get from her)

It is possible that only the original can turn others, she was bitten by someone else who was turned, also he wasn't allowed to fully transform. One of these two things may explain why she was not cursed.
