It's been awhile since the last Shadow Isles champion, where did they all go?

Here's each region with the some of the most recent champion releases and how many champs are part of each region (since 2014) ~

Freljord (12):

Orrn - 8/23/2017 Braum - 5/12/2014

Bandle City (6):

**Shadow Isles (8): **

Kalista - 11/20/2014

Shadow Isles could really use some new additions to its roster. Demacia is the only other one that hasn't really had anything in a long time, but there are also 12 Demacian champions.

Well Bandle city needs a new champion much more than the shadow isles.

Yes we already got other yordles, like Kled and Gnar, but by that logic we could also argue that we got another undead recently and thus don't need another champ from the undead faction.

Or a Damacian-Shadow Isles champion [slayer-jinx-wink]

This really shows that the champion creation teams have to take a break from Ionia for some years. Other regions wait 3-4 years between champ releases, yet Ionia had 4 new champs in a time span of 2 years.

That's insane. I really hope that we get a Piltover champion soon. We got Camille 2 years ago and that's quite a time and Piltover needs more champions. And I would enjoy to finally get a chembaron champion from Zaun...

It was mentioned that one of the ideas tossed around during Pyke's early development was an undead Shadow Isles yordle, and god that would be a fascinating angle to explore. Would they resist the Black Mist, or embrace it? I'd imagine they would have been friends with Maokai, and perhaps even Yorick. What would their relationship be like after that, especially if the yordle had given in to/embraced the Mist? Just how the heck would being undead affect a nigh-immortal faerie thing?

Yordles are my least favourite Champions, tbh. Just because we don’t have one directly from Bandle City, we’ve still had two too many added to the roster.

I think a Rioter even mentioned they were throwing around ideas for a Yordle from the Shadow Isles. Given how yordles are usually portrayed, I couldn’t think of a better way to make a mockery of the SI’s creepy/serious theme.

I’m being a real negative Nancy here, sorry. I’d love to see something unique from Shadow Isles. I’d also love to see their existing characters become a little more three-dimensional.

I want another Shadow Isles girl. Kalista is cool but I want a girl with long flowy hair giving me banshee vibes.
