Firecannon doesn't work with Mordekaiser's Q though, at least on the PBE at release. If you have full charges, press Q, and try to auto something, Mordekaiser will just walk up to it and sit there. He simply won't attack.

That sounds unintentional. Empowered hit or not, if it works on other champs like MonkeyKing and his Q (which really work well together I might add) then it should work for morde and his Q as well.
