2 years and a half after Kayn's release, still no new Darkin champions or actual darkin content
It makes me extremely sad to see how disgustingly ignored Darkins are. Hell, even Vastayans got 2 new members ever since their "introduction" and, let's be fair, those are way more generic after all and have waaaaaaaay more members as a whole too.
Even if the lore of the Ascended/Darkins is amongst the deepest and largest aspects of the universe's lore, Darkins in terms of gameplay (read: representability in the game) are so tossed away from the game's development that it makes me wonder why Riot would even care making this huge lore bomb with this much potential if they are never ever going to use it again. Even f*cking VARUS, who got almost entirely retconned into the darkin lore a little over 2 years ago, STILL doesn't have A SINGLE link to his new darkin identity in the game; the same lines, the same appearance, the same behavior, nothing changed. 2. YEARS. It's as if League of Legends is now a fangame of its own universe instead of its official representation, cherry picking what they can afford to represent from it. Of course, a LOT of lore pieces has been poorly represented for years going now, but I still believe (IMO) that darkins are amongst the ones who suffer the most from it, if not being THE most aflicted, given how they are basically linked to pretty much every single aspects in the lore who are big enough to actually matter more than most(Shurima/Ascendeds, Icathia + Void, Targon aspects, etc).
Please Riot, you got to remember the darkin, you've forgot for long enough
