Sylas/Lux in the new comic?

They just announced it on Amazon for preorder!

Sylas is gonna be key in some way, so I was thinking what you all think about Lux/Sylas happening here? >w>

I will admit that CANONICALLY, she may have had unconscious feelings for Sylas, but they ended when he stole her magic and murdered several people in front of her. Plain and simple. If they ever did get together it would guaranteed be an abusive relationship, not to mention the girl is like 16 and he's easily 25-26.

It's just wrong and should never happen.

Lux is about 20, but Sylas is still at least ten years older than her. Same logic applies. I don't even think she had romantic feelings for him in the first place, probably more brother-replacement feelings (though the age gap is still bigger than her and Garen's).

Uhhh no.

Lux is a minor in canon.

She is according to an old Ask Riot, 16-17. In comparison Ezreal is 17-18(specifically hes around a year older than lux).

Jinx is Lux's age.(Vi might be around here but could be older)

Akali is 17, maybe 18 if you want to stretch(before her rework she was only like 14, and she aged a few years, which means if she is 18, she just had her birthday recently).

Beyond that Annie is like 8, Nunu is like 9.

The 8 of them make up LoL's minors.

(Though Ezreal and Akali can be interpretted as adults if you want to, they most likely arent)

On top of that, Talon and Kayn cant purchase alcohol legally.

Garen and Lux were children at the same time. That makes their maximum age difference be around 6 years, which means He is only 22-23, with Kat within say 2 years of him either direction. Cassie is between Talon and Kat.

Sylas is mid 20's.

Again. Lux and Taliyah were established as teenagers when they launched but recent lore updates have placed those ages into question

Taliyah in lore has just left Yasuo returned to Shurima and battled with Xerath. She has most definitely not aged significantly.

I'm actually looking forward to the Lux comic largely because the character might age from being a teen finally, which will mean progression on all teen champs surrounding her.

Necrit isn't always right dude. Case and point, Akali is not 22, she's 17-18 as stated on her rework.

As in, it says she was 14, and now a few years have passed. A few is 3-4. She literally cannot be older than 18.

Ezreal is actually older than Lux, and Ekko is stated to be a couple years younger than Lux, a couple means 2 not 5, 5 falls under a bunch with 6, 7 or more is many.

Furthermore, Lux was actually aged down in the overall lore update.

Do you have sources for any of these ages? I'm not trying to like, needle you, I'm just curious. I've been interested in piecing together a League timeline for a long time, and canon champ ages would be really helpful in piecing together when things happen.

I've always thought Lux was about 20 and Sylas was in his mid 30's, for example.

Here's for Ekko and Taliyah, i undershot them by a year actually mb.

Akali is simple math, she was 14 pre rework and her rework is a timeskip encompassing a "few" years. A few is short term for 3-4 which means she is 17-18.

The only indications we have for Jinx's age are she's older than Ekko and the same age as Lux in SG, so it can be presumed she's the same age as Lux give or take. Ezreal was created a year before Lux and Schizzle said he's roughly a year older.

As for Lux I cannot find the proper Ask Riot I remember it being in the comments of, but the numbers stuck with me since, well, I main Lux. I don't understand why people are so insistent on her being of drinking age. It kind of creeps me out. Also, the end of her bio is phrased as the present with her having decided to stay in the capital after going there at 16 for Garen's graduating from his Dauntless training.

On top of that her entire theme was originally an exploration on child soldier and stepford smiler.

Talon and Kayn were mentioned as not being able to purchase alcohol on a reddit jokish thread. Kat is admittedly a guess but she should be around Garen's age since they're supposed to be foils to each other, and Cassie is the middle child.

Sylas is admittedly more an educated guess based on his appearance, he very well could be in his 30's, but that just makes the Sylas x Lux squick even worse... [sg-ahri-1]

TBH I think a Sylas and Lux relationship is a little creepy regardless of her age (though obviously way worse if she is in fact a minor when their relationship begins).

He's taken advantage of her powers and used her as basically a battery to charge his own magical essence. He arguably, yes, did it for a good cause, but the power balance in that relationship wouldn't be very healthy at all.

Without getting into the details of the removal, you basically said the same things should happen to both -- that the Sylas and Lux shippers can go -removed- with the taric and ezreal shippers. Either way, the comment is not appropriate.

I think the cover art is very suggestive of what the comic is going to be about. Garen and Sylas are juxtaposed on Luxs' left and right shoulders... in the same way that a persons conscious would be positioned (angel and devil on the shoulders). They represent the duality of Demacia: it's high minded principles and its' taboos around magic. That duality is the core of Luxs' character, as she is from one Demacias' most prestigious families and yet she is also a mage, but she cannot reconcile one with the other.

The story will be about Lux at a crossroads, why she had to turn to Sylas in the first place, her strained relationship with Garen and her country and hopefully will go into detail about how Sylas starts the mage rebellion and what Demacias response will be
