How long does it take for a champion to get a new skin?

Depends on how popular the champion is. Yorick came out June of 2011 and has never received a new skin expect for the ones he was launched with, but Ekko received a new skin 3 months after his release.

I mean it does depend. But for the newer champions they will usually get a skin within the first Year. They wont always follow how they were released. But from my memory at the very least new champs will get another skins within the year. Since Taliyah was only recently released (3rd champion to be released in 2016) she probably wont be getting a new skin till early next year, unless they make a Harrowing skin for her, as i doubt they'd make a Winter skin for her since she has a winter-like skin already!
