Ranged Without Projectile?

Would it be possible for an adc with ranged attacks to not use some kind of projectile? Right now all we have are guns, bows, spears, or something else that is thrown. The only thing I have been able to come up with is a lance.

I'm just making this discussion to see what people can come up with. I look forward to seeing some creativity.

hook seems to be the only ranged non-projectile.

People are saying and auto attacks goes through wind wall. While it is true they aren't projectiles, because they appear as a solid stream and stay connected to the body of the champion. I'm not sure what to call them, but I feel they are still kinda projectileish.

I'm looking for ideas of weapons that could be counted as ranged without using a projectile.

Chain and hook is currently the only non ranged projectile i believe (Thresh's autos)

Thresh's hook (when auto-attacking) is not a projectile. Interestingly, his Q is though. Also, Kayle's Righteous Glory* is not a projectile. It's really just igniting a random target on fire.

Thresh, Vel'Koz, and Azir all have ranged AAs that don't get blocked by Wind Wall/Unbreakable due to not being projectiles. Kayle's E attacks as well.

nope its not because its a damn laser like nothing blocks it. Same as lux ult.

Also, vel's AA's aren't projectiles. They are like melee attacks and can't be blocked by windwall either lol.

What DO count as projectiles on vel are his w and q. Everything else goes through.

Thresh, Vel'Koz, and Azir all have autoattacks that are not classified as projectiles.
