Legendary+ skin sales

So I have wondered this for a long time because Ive always thought that most of the legendary skins were pretty cool but way too overpriced especially if its just one skin. My question is will legendary or ultimate skins such as the skin or the new one ever go on sale for a full 50% off or even just go on like a 15% off sale. Also if they ever have gone on sale will they ever again? I know that the lux one had an "Early Sale" but will it ever have a normal sale or even just go to a lower price ever again? Thanks for the help in advance.

The Ultimate skins and the 1820 skins have a single early sale and then will never go on sale again unless riot decides otherwise which looks unlikely for now. Five-ten years down the road maybe.

They do that because they are still a business. They need/want to make a profit (and I don't mean in a greedy way, but in the logical "we need to live" kind of way). The ultimate/legendary skins are skins that people are prepared to pay large amounts of money for, since they look amazing and thus it's very profitable to not put those on a discount (or not too often at least).
Look at it this way: The more money they have, the better they can make the game and the more people they can hire to make awesome skins ^^ I hope that explains why they don't put skins like that on sale.
