Miss fortune into late game

I like to play mf because shes really easy to win lane with and then I can deal a lot of damage mid game but when games go into the 40 min+ mark I find myself doing really little amounts of damage. I normally build the standard lethality build and it just seems to fall off late game. Should I start just building crit from the start or like sell BC or boots for another damage item or what. Also I normally take comet in lane idk if I should swap it for dark harvest or not. Thanks in advance

the point of that build is to win the game before it gets to late game

depending on the enemy team BC might simply be over kill on the pen

Really ? with MF usually reaching late game for me is a guaranteed win Usually just E and and do a good ult

I have to say, this is very depending on the enemy composition.

I have the same item build, except boots (I prefer Celerity or Mercury) and GA (I prefer Zhonya). And I have to agree, sometimes, late game you struggle with damage, especially against frontlines with big tanks.

But, as Noor Sakata said, her ultimate can just solo win a team fight late game. With that build, you just delete carries and supports.

So yeah, a lot of factors can have an impact (your team composition, enemy CC and tankiness, ...) but late game, always try to pull out that juicy combo (E + R).
