It fits the blood moon theme so much better now. It's not as popstar-esque as it used to be and looks a lot more serious.
This is a really big step to trying to listen to the community, and I'm really, really glad that Riot took that step 
Half of the community wanted it turned red to fit the Blood Moon theme, the other half wanted it pink with a name change to not be in the blood moon theme. I think it was a lose/lose situation, though not as bad as some have been.
I personally don't think I'll be buying it anymore, I thought they'd revert it after people spoke up but I guess not.
They won't get a truly heartfelt thank you from me until they make a Popstar Elise with those colors.
The spider? I'm sure Lady GaGa has done something like that before right?
If you look at Kalista her bloodmoon is more Magenta then it is Red, so I don't see anything wrong with having a pink skin in the mix considering pink is a shade of Red. Pink looked way better imo anyway. The red looks too weird now, just not natural choice of red and she's already got enough red in her original anyway so why more red?
