His alternative skin they release him with can be the Full Metal skin theme Jayce, Rammus, & Viktor have. Would be a nice nod to the Full Metal Alchemist lol.
His spellkit would revolve around tranmutation, something that I think could create a really unique, fun and distinguished champion.

But, if you want a champ based off alchemy or learning it, I'd love for a new child champ to come.

I think what I was trying to specifically refer to was the process of transmutation lol. I think it could provide a really cool, wholly unique spellkit. He'd be able to transmute like liquid water (or maybe liquid acid or something) which would have their own effect, maybe slow them or something, into pure gold, which would be able to stun them, or transmute gold and/or acid into a gaseous form, like smog or something that would temporarily blind them or have a similar effect to Graves' smoke shot. Just a real quick idea at the top of my head I came up with for his spellkit involving transmutation. Though I'm sure a well-thought spellkit revolving around transmutation would be much cooler lol.

Wow, how 'bout trying to ask your questions civilized before ignorantly jumping to conclusions? They wouldn't be releasing an Alchemist-based champion to 'fill a niche', they would do so because it could make a wholly unique champion. His spellkit could revolve around the act of transmutation, something that I think any person open-minded would agree is really awesome and surprisingly unique, given the current amount of champions.
If you don't like something, it doesn't mean you have to disparage it y'know. At least not so quickly without giving something a try.

Singed is a chemist. Though frankly, he does a terrible job at filling that role. Riot should thoroughly research what a chemist means. In regards to what an alchemist champion can do, his spellkit could rely on the transmutation of different materials.
