Why wasn't Chinese Splash Art implemented for Sivir.

I bought Warrior Princess because it was on sale. Now thing is that, though I noticed before that 4 of her skins are really unattractive(Bandit,Huntress,Warrior Princess and Spectacular) I wanted a skin for one of my ADC's and I only had 300 RP and wasn't gonna wait for or sales. Now problem is that, I got really happy to know that RIOT was going to implement 33 Chinese skins instead of the NA ones. Much to my dismay not 1 Sivir skin was changed. So if RIOT could please do this so I and many other people can be happy with their skin and enjoy what we bought. Here's a picture of the NA and Chinese Warrior Princess Splash Art.

Hello King Odarth! Nice to meet you, my name is RiotCuring and I'm in Splash Art department.

Before I start, I thought I'd share our primary goals with splash art. A good splash art should contain not only the mood and personality of the character in style of League of Legends, but also reflect what the players will see when played in-game --- all in the most awesome way possible.

That being said, while I'm unsure what exact reason prevented us from updating this particular skin and we currently can't promise you an update, we will definitely check again to see if this is a 'clear win' for the players.

As for concerns of stylistic difference in art, we WILL replace the old splash art if it is a clear win even if art style is a bit different. A good example of this was Red Riding Annie splash change. Even though artistic style used in Chinese version was different from our current goals/style, it was so clear that it is an upgrade from the old NA splash that we decided to use it.

If any of you guys have solid suggestions in switching current NA splash art with art from other regions, please comment and let us know! we can plan a 2nd wave of splash art updates if we have solid recommendations. Our high-level goal is to eventually make every splash art in League of Legends awesome, so please bear with us through our long journey ahead. :)

TL;DR We can't promise the change for this particular but we will review the possibility of the change. Also please let us know if you have suggestions for any other splash updates (Other region art to NA).

Thank you for all the suggestions, guys! It's very important for us to understand what you guys want to see from a splash art. We are reading every comments and will be reviewing them. I will be checking constantly so please feel free to keep posting more suggestions. :)

Wut is with that Chinese art.

You can't even tell the skin is a nod to Xena, warrior princess with that. She doesn't have the right bangs or armor patterning, and the blade is pre-artwork update Sivir. It doesn't even look like the Chakram she has with that skin currently.

Normally I'm all for the Chinese art, they tend to have some really nice splashes with a nicer presentation. Can't say I like the Chinese one here more though. While it's more aesthetically pleasing; it's considerably more missleading and inaccurate in regards to the skin. I got that skin so I could AYAYAYAYAYAYAYA warrior princess things to death. Not so I could look like default Sivir wearing cloths.

Please Riot, switch Masquerade's splash arts. The Chinese one is far FAR better as opposed to the NA one. Hell, the Chinese Masquerade art is the reason I started playing League!

Off all those splash arts, the only one where I think the Chinese one is better is Spectacular Sivir.

Honestly ALL of the Chinese art is better than hours. Have you seen Midnight Ahri's chinese splash? It's GORGEOUS

Probably because it looks like it came more from an anime than a champion splash art. Then again, I could be wrong.

Honestly I think the first three are a little tooo cartoony/anime style for my tastes and I really don't think that Huntress Sivir needs a new NA portrain (the other two, definitely), however that spectacular sivir splash DEFINITELY should have been changed. No offense to the original artist, but it really does not fit the current state of the game.

To the initial poster;

I agree the Chinese splashes of Sivir are much more skilfully done. And some splashes definitely need a rework!

But that up there is not really Sivir . I look at the image of Warrior Princess and I cant imagine that face and stance saying this: http://images.wikia.com/leagueoflegends/images/e/e9/Sivir.joke01.ogg I think of Sivir as(sexy yes) but a fearsome, very tough, cold-hearted woman, Not some high school girl! Trowing unfocused glance, far away... somewhere... The Chinese Huntress is the only one I see Sivir in.

The other examples I saw too, some are really good (Khartus, Caitlyn and Eve's) but most just are not representing the character of the champs. And I never imagined that Taric had a face of a Chinese male model :D .

And others are not good at all! @Realtor u really think that classic Jana and Leona look better in your attachments then the current ones ?!

How about, instead of suggesting skin replacements that you like, have a Riot team with an eye for beauty observe and compare ALL the NA & Chinese splashes and replace them carefully.
