@Riot: Regarding Shen's new splash vs actual spell animation

So with Shen seeming to disappear a bit at a time in the art, does this mean there will be a change in animation for his ult in the future, or is the bit by bit disappearance just part of the art?

And I never knew until now that Shen has his left hand as it is in the new splash when performing his ult, so thx for that bit. A pretty interesting thing.
