An idea for a potential Twitch rework!
Hello everyone! We all know the current problems with the ADC class and I am not going to rant about these.
I'm here to present an idea on how ADC's can be changed to have a more interactive and counterable gameplay aspect to them.
For now I only have an idea on how to change Twitch:
General things before I get started. I wanted to keep the design of Twitch (Contaminating / Stealth / Huge AOE) but at the same time take away his power of just auto-attacking and putting it in his kit.
Contaminate (Passive): Twitch applies stacks of Contamination with his abilites or auto-attacks. Each stack deals 1 (+1 per level) true dmg every second for 6 seconds (max. 10 stacks) and refreshes if another stack is applied (even if Twitch has max. stacks on the target).
If an enemy dies with 10 stacks of contamination he explodes and leaves a field of Deadly Venom around him.
Deadly venom: Enemies effected by this take +50% dmg from contaminate and gain a stack of contamination every 0.5 seconds.
Upon reaching lvl 7/13 Twitch's basic attacks deal 80%/70% dmg to champions.
Ambush (Q): Cost: 50 mana Cooldown: 20 seconds
Twitch becomes camouflaged for 10/11/12/13/14 after 1 second. While stealthed he gains 10% bonus movement speed, increased to 30% when he moves toward nearby enemy champions who cannot see him. Upon breaking stealth he gains 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% bonus attack speed for 5 seconds.
Ambush's cooldown is reset if an enemy dies while affected by Contamination.
Twitch cannot cast Spray and Pray while being stealthed or 1 second after breaking stealth.
Venom Cask (W): Cost: 60 mana Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9 seconds Speed: 1400 Target Range: 1100 Radius: 1.5 * the radius he has on the live servers Duration: 4.5 seconds
Passive: Deadly Venom slows enemies for 10/20/30/40/50% for the duration they stand in the venom. As soon as Twitch applies 10 stacks of Contamination , his next 10 auto-attacks apply (1 per 100 AD) more stacks with each hit (20 second cooldown).
Active: Twitch throws a Cask of Deadly Venom on a targeted location. (He can walk freely during the animation).
Nasty Poison (E): Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana Cooldon: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds Effect Radius: 1300
Passive: Twitch gains 30%/30%/40%/40%/50% bonus movementspeed for 1.5 (+1% AD) seconds as soon as he applies 10 stacks of Contamination to an enemy champion and becomes 10/20/30/40/50% slow resistant during that time (20/16/14/12/10 seconds cooldown).
Active: Twitch deals 2/4/6/8/10 (+10% AD) physical dmg per contamination-stack to all contaminated targets in his area and applies 1/1/2/2/3 stacks of contamination. (This ability deals 10/20/30/40/50% more dmg if the enemy is affected by Deadly Venom. This bonus becomes 100% as soon as Twitch has maxed this ability and hit lvl 16).
Spray and Pray (R): Cost: 100 mana Cooldown: 100/90/80 seconds
Twitch's basic attacks have 650/750/850 range for 5 seconds and apply 1 + (2 per 100 AD) stacks of Contamination with each hit (Does not stack with Venom Cask passive). Additionally, Twitch's basic attacks travel across their full range and skewer every enemy they pass through for the duration, dealing 100% - 40% (based on enemy hit) damage. These attacks apply on-hit effects to all affected enemies and can only Critical strike the first enemy campion hit.
So now some number examples:
Twitch lvl 18 with 10 stacks / 200 AD will deal: 900 true dmg with passive (without refreshing) wich goes up to 1350 if enemies stand in Deadly Venom, E will deal 300 physical dmg (600 if affected by Deadly Venom) then + whatever dmg he deals with auto's (keep in mind that this is not only single target dmg, he does huge AOE dmg).
With this rework you can actually SEE and REACT to incoming dmg! Like Darius, if you see him hitting 10 stacks you know that he will get stronger. You can dodge Deadly Venom to lower his dmg output (by around 30-40%!!!). You know that as soon as he leaves stealth that he can't cast ult right away. His dmg is no longer instant but a DOT over 6 seconds (a huge one at that though).
And with this there you have an ADC that doesn't want crit or lethality.
His build could look like this:
.
General idea is that he should work around his passive and not auto-attacks.
I want to hear your opinions on this! Let's discuss!
