Who doesn't know the dilemma "aw jeez my Flask start is just doing no damage, I wish Riot sacrificed the lane sustain and gave it more damage!"

If you want less sustain and more damage you don't buy this item. You buy this item if you actually need the damn lane sustain and nothing else, nobody even cares about the damage, you could remove the damage and people would still buy it because get this, sometimes you just focus on not dying!

Were ranged champs in top just not cancer enough or what is going on here?

This is 75 HP you're missing out in laning phase this is a huge ass nerf

Flask sustain is a bit op. It is supposed to be worth its gold only if you use both healing and damage components, not just heal back to full hp after every trade

you could remove the damage and people would still buy it because get this, sometimes you just focus on not dying!

I agree with this change. 15-30 to 20 makes it an early laning item that encourages you to trade with it instead of just using it for HP. It doesn't do that much mid-late, nerfing damage.

Corrupting Potion was the replacement for Crystalline Flask. Given CF didn't have the damage component at all, I would argue it's clear that Riot didn't like that CF was completely defensive and created CP in the first place to make a refillable potion that was more offensive.

I'm no expert but this change makes sense to me. Both its sustain and dmg increase are pretty decent, making the trade off less clear compared to going full sustain or mostly consistent dmg.

With the change the role C pots fulfill becomes a bit clearer to me.

High time this shit for nerfed. They should remove the damage component and just hard nerf this shit for what it's worth.

It isn't fun having to play under careful only to see your opponent chug down three of these to full health despite making brain-dead monkey plays.

You've always got Doran's shield for ranged bullies and C pot needed the nerf to its sustain.

Riot is all about making you butt heads w/ someone. Keeping scuttle in, runes reforged creep, extremely long jungle timers, rift herald, getting large amounts of CDR w/o intentionally itemizing for it, massive buff to Dragon importance, turret plating, removing counterplay...

Some of these can be argued to be net positives, but they aren't necessarily designed to be. It is more about encouraging as much flashy 'action' as possible in the name of 'interactivity', even if it hurts the overall macro game and limits champion pools/fun.

The point of nerfing Corrupting was to nerf stupid shit like Dark Seal + Corrupting + Biscuts which allowed midlaners (specifically mages) to practically bypass their sustain weakness and remain in lane 24/7 if they managed their mana and trading right.

Why does this have 72 upvotes? This is a hard nerf in its ENTIRETY. Damage doesn't scale past 20 anymore and the healing per charge is down by 25. Sure, level 2 all-ins are increased, but for the most part this is just a nerf.

Corruption potion damage was already broken, yet they are buffing it. When you pop corruption you are literally going super saiyan while its active.
