Lore:

Loved by nature. Protected by the earth. Blessed with its life, Lila, a strange being from the Glade has ventured into Runeterra for reasons unknown. First mentioned when they saw her healing the God Willow when it was accidentally burned by the humans who worshiped it, and later seen in the Kumungu jungles healing the trees that had been damaged due to an attack from creatures unknown who ravaged the land, and later seen cleansing Bilgewater's ports of pollutants and filth that had mucked the area. No one knows who she is exactly, most people compare her to the Greenfather, but some don't. Some say she is much more then the lovable Greenfather of lore. Some say she is something that can change the very land of Runterra to how she sees fit. But everyone will agree, that she is a very powerful being, who is possibly also immortal. And that she may have been the one to have grown. created, and nurtured the God Williow. Which in hand has made many to speculate that she was the one to have made the Greenfather who he is today. She has been mentioned since before the Freljord was covered in ice, and with every sighting. Her description has never changed. A small little girl, dressed in the colors of the forest. Is she human? Or is she something much more? Or. Was she human before? No one knows what exactly lies in the Glade, and maybe she has the secret that will answer the questions that many historians have been asking for centuires. What is the Glade?

Abilities:

Passive: Blessing of the Flowers

Lila permanently has enhanced movement speed, as well as increased health regen and mana regen. Allies gain the health regen and mana regen passive as well, when near Lila. The health regen is increased based on missing health. The health regen and mana regen on Lila is stronger then on her allies.

Q: Safe Haven 28/25/20/18/15/13

Lila grows a Tree that can be damaged by enemies, and allies around the tree gain increased defenses, as well as buff the regen from Blessing of the Flowers. When first cast, Safe Haven's Tree has increased defenses ,the increased defenses wear off after 5 seconds time. Their can only be one Safe Haven on the map. Safe Haven's Tree has HP increasing based on ability power and based off of Lila's current HP, as well as increasing based on level of the skill. Safe Haven's cooldown is halved whenever the Tree is destroyed. The Tree lasts indefinitely until destroyed or replaced. After the first casting of Safe Haven, and the Tree is destroyed within 3/6/7/9/12/15 seocnds, Safe Haven cannot be cast for an additional 8 seconds. If Lila is attacked Safe Haven's Tree takes a percentage of the damage. If Lila is killed, Safe Haven's health rapidly decreases until it is destroyed. If Safe Haven's Tree has not taken damage after 5 secs, the Tree will regenerate its health back. Safe Haven can be cast on destroyed towers.

W: Pond of Discipline -Toggle

Lila creates a pond that buff ally movement speed while they are on it, and slow enemies on top of it as well as damage them based on their missing hp. Enemies can only be damaged once every 4 seconds and the slow will last for 2 seconds, reapplying the slow every 4 seconds. This ability can damage minions, but only once every 3 seconds. The longer the pond is brought out, the mana needed to keep the pond active increases, as well as increasing the damage dealt every 4 seconds and then increasing the movespeed and slow slightly. If Lila is damaged, Pond of Discipline's mana cost increases based on Lila's missing health.

E: The Lands Agony 15/12/10/8/6/5

Lila explodes the earth in an area, enemies are damaged, and marked with the debuff, Land's Wrath. Allies attacking marked targets will deal increased damage.

R: Blessing of Lila 200/150/100

Lila enhances one of her basic abilities that will give the following bonus effects: Safe Haven- Safe Haven's Tree's health and its passive buffs will be greatly increased, and if any ally were to die in the vicinity of the Tree, the Tree instead will take the damage that would kill the ally. The damage that would kill the ally will do 200% more damage on the Tree. This bonus does not effect Lila. Blessing of Lila will last as long as their are enemies within the vicinity of the Tree. If their are no enemies present, Safe Haven's Tree will return to normal after 20 seconds, no longer receiving the bonuses from Blessing of Lila. When casting Blessing of Lila on Safe Haven, Lila channels for 1 second and then the Tree is placed. CC and silences will disrupt the channel, however it will reset the cooldown of Blessing of Lila. Pond of Discipline- The Pond's size will increase drastically. (Size before ULT- Half of river/Half of a Lane. Size after ULT- Can Fill up the entire lane. Imagine mid lane itself, with the 4 corners and the minons meet up in the middle. ULT W is the size of the that whole area. Reaching to the 4 corners where the bushes are in a circular shape. Forming a Lake now instead of a Pond) Lila's pond will deal continuous damage and apply a continuous slow over time while enemies are on the pond, and allies within the pond will heal over time. Enemies within the pond will have their Attack Speed reduced as well. The bonuses of the pond will last for only the first cast of the Pond. Once toggled off, the effects of Blessing of Lila will be gone. Pond of Discipline's mana costs no longer increases over time, and will have a fixed amount of mana cost. Pond of Discipline will still have mana costs equal to Lila's missing health. The Land's Agony- Damage will increase, as well as slow enemies hit, and the aoe skillshot is bigger. After the intial explosion of earth, Land's Agony will leave behind an incredibly strong slowing field that will apply the Land's Wrath debuff on enemies that are within the slowing zone. Land's Wrath's ally damage increase will be stronger.

(The timings and cooldowns and costs are either not clearly listed or showed and are input to just give a general idea of how the skill works or should work)

Playstyle:

Lila is a support type character who has very strong presence in the early to Late game. Lila brings a lot of sustain in lane and great situational support to the team.

Laning Phase:

Lila should first take Q and place it in an area that will not be highly targeted, providing her and her adc a nice refuge to take a breather and heal up. The Tree is very weak early and can be taken down easily. Though E is a good option to consider for early game poke, but its cooldown is pretty long early. So it would not be the best choice in most situations. Lila is a rather passive support, doing mostly healing and buffing instead of outright trying to damage enemies. Which is also why her passive works. Lila has no strong engage, no lasting damage. And so her playstyle towards the laning phase is to keep your ADC alive. Which is easy! Her passive heals and sustains, and her Q buffs armor and resistance. It always best to fight around the tree. Lila's most active skill is her W and E. W is rather good escape tool, creating a zone that slows and makes your team faster. So it is good to escape from ganks and enemies that way. And though I have said that Lila is mostly a passive support. She can be active. Especially with her E, which does decent damage and applies a buff to your team that lets them do more damage. A good trading/dueling combo would be to E, W. E for the damage and W for the slow and movespeed. To ally your team/ADC to captilize and get in good poke and damage!

Another good combo after 6 to try and look for kills during the laning phase is, ULT E to apply the very strong slow, and then go swim in with W and the W slow will keep them within the debuff area of ULT E, and while they are busy trying to get away or trade back, set up your Q. ________________________-- Teamfighting:

Teamfighting is a struggle for Lila. Enemies can walk away from most of your abilities, and the key ability her Q (Safe Haven) can be targeted and DPSed down by late game ADCs once they have full attack speed. Even when including Lila's ult. Enemies can still walk away from them all. With her only true engaging power coming from her ULT E, but this isn't highly recommended due to it wasting what she truly is. A support. So you have to protect your team. An ULT E will do nothing for your team. Though it is good for picks and chasing down enemies. And if your team is really ahead. Then the damage buff from ULT E would melt enemies.

And during teamfights, Lila should try to avoid damage at all costs. Lila's Tree will die much faster for he takes a percentage of your damage, as well as increase the mana costs of your Pond. Try to stay in the backline and try not to die.

It is pretty good to place your tree in an area where it would affect most of your team. Though it is good to place your Tree where the assassin is. For your ULT Q can protect an ally from Lethal damage. IE. Zed ults in, does his stuff and shadows ult. His death timers ticking, but your trees there! So it will protect and save your ally. Also interesting thing to note, Lila's ULT Q can potentially save multiple allies, depending on how much HP your Tree actually has, for it will take more damage then your dying ally would.

Lila's ULT W is pretty good for kiting and is the only skill in her kit that applies direct healing. And will slow enemies, in a sense, it is her most direct abilities when in a teamfight.

Late Game:

Lila's teamfight is hard. So you must really know the champ and know what to do and what skill to use and where. But other then that. She is quite good at Zone control, zoning. Lila's Q gets pretty tanky late game, once she has HP and AP items and well as the Tree's own natural tankiness. So it will take a bit for enemies to take it down, and if they are so focused on it, then it would be a good distraction. I.E. set your Q up in midlane, to show that your team is planning to siege mid and that the tree is place there for a reason, but in actuality that is not the plan. You can go take a sneaky baron or dragon while they go and DPS the tree. And your W late game as well, can zone enemies fairly well, placing your W and Q in river, will essentially block off the entire path. Having enemies either walk through the slowing field and or focus down the tree. Buying your team time. Lila is also very good at seiging towers and the nexus. Becoming on par with Sona in sustaining her team Late game, without the downfall of wasting a lot of mana. Lila's own passive and and Q will be like a mini warmogs late game. Allying your team to regen a good amount of health and mana. Though there are downsides. 5 people grouped around a tree will make your team easy targets. So you must not stick together. The Tree's buff and Lila's passive have a good range, so you do not have to grouped to receive Lila's buffs.

Disclaimer: I am not trying to be mean, I do not hold ill will towards you or your ideas but I will be honest in hopes of helping you grow.

Passive: I really don't like this ability because it's kind of a bland mash up of other passives, old Heimer passive, current Janna passive but not direction restricted, and then the mana regen passive is cool and all but that's mostly useless after level 14-ish. Generally Riot doesn't like screwing around with resources like mana as seen by them removing Soraka's ability to give mana.

Q: This ability is fine and all but I'd like some clarification on what defenses means; is it damage reduction? Is it armor and magic resist? That's something you need to be mindful of since some people scale off MR and Armor. Overall I like the idea of the ability, just needs a few wording changes.

W: I don't really understand why the ability is the way it is, you want your allies to pass through it but you want your enemies to stay in it for prolonged periods of time. The issue I'm seeing here is that there's a lot of cost for an ability that is like toggle Morg W with a slow, the mana cost doesn't have to increase over time if there's already an increased cost the less health she has. Her lack of CC makes this ability hard to make useful since they won't be standing in it for very long unless your team backs you up.

E: Not much to say on this because it's a very simple ability, I feel you could make it more interesting but my general rule is that concepts can have 1 boring ability as long as it works which if you make a new passive would be fine.

R: I like these effects for the most part so I'll go one by one

(RQ): Pretty solid concept, I like the design of the ability sacrificing your tree and defenses in favor of keeping a low health squishy alive but there also comes the problem with it. You're creating a slightly more limited Kindred ultimate for just your team, if it continuously defies death for your team I think it'd end up getting to insane levels with ADCs. I'd suggest only absorbing lethal damage once per person, or perhaps it instantly dies when Lila dies.

(RW): Again, pretty solid concept, I feel like as long as the numbers aren't too ridiculous this could be a fine ability. I'm a sucker for cool visuals and I think this ability would look beautiful.

(RE): Slows slows and more slows, I don't really get why she has so many slows in her kit when she has no hard CC to take advantage of her W. It feels weird to have two slows on two of your ultimate options when one of your basic abilities already has a slow. Between this and your ultimate W you're basically just asking if you want to heal more or do more damage which ends up in boring decision making, what can make or break a champion is asking yourself when to use certain aspects of your kit and how to use them. The problem with this and the W ultimate is that there's very clearly a right and wrong time to use them in a way that makes it feel stiff.

Overall I do like the idea of the Q, it's the most creative thing on here while the rest of it is fairly generic yet workable. My advice would be to change the passive and rework the E and the E ultimate to be something more interesting. I do hope you keep up with this and update it, I'm excited to see the direction you take it in!

Heyo! [vlad-salute]

In hindsight, I am aware that what I've wrote can sound a little like I'm just flaming you and/or your concept. Whoops :P

*Passive: "Lila permanently has enhanced movement speed, as well as increased health regen and mana regen..." everything here is just a type bonus i.e. save for the aura, everything could be incorporated into Lila's base stats without much of a difference. Also, things like that are generally rather uninteractive.

Q: From what I can gather this is an (even more) boring version of Azir's Passive. Also, yet another stat-stick type of ability, it's just kind of.... there. Also it puts the enemy team in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" type of situation aka. no good counterplay. Also a wording tip: if the tree were to be free-cast, it makes no sense pointing out that it "can be cast on destroyed towers", since it could be placed right next to them anyway.

W: Numbers are wonky, there's a lot of 4 seconds and 2 seconds and 3 seconds and other numbers that don't quite match. Also having the manacost increase dynamically with missing health is just a big "screw you" to the Lila player since the mana cost cannot be properly relied upon. The ability is otherwise fine, if a little statty.

E: As I read I realized that all your abilities, for some reason, all have 6 ranks on them rather than 5. Otherwise it's a Shyvana E for your teammates. Or a Vladimir ult, which would be worse. You probably want to make this into a single target skillshot/very thin area, as is there's absolutely no skill expression in any part of her kit (that's a running problem).

R: I see this is a Leblanc-esque type of ability so I'll make short points on each ability enhancement. -RQ: No one wants to deal with an unkillable adc. Really. -RW: WOW THAT'S BIG! W was fine by me, assuming it had a relatively small radius. Such a slow over that wide an area would basically be a death sentence for the enemy team. -RE: Regular E with buffed stats. I also have a hunch that this ability will be downright impossible to miss for some reason (hint: WRE combo)

-- PLAYSTYLE REMARKS --

As I said a couple times above, this very much looks like a champion you just press buttons on, like Sona or Soraka before her.

>Teamfighting is a struggle for Lila. Lol no. Drop the tree in the general area where the teamfight is happening, suddenly the enemy is forced to attack the tree if they want to get anything done really. Ult W would just make it impossible for enemies to leave area range. That tree is like a more annoying and more boring Daisy that doesn't move.

Laning phase: This hardly looks like a passive support. Take E level 1, use it on the minions so that they push, get level 2 first, drop the tree in a bush or something and go to town right away with E under the tree, which will probably force the enemy out of lane right away, unless the numbers are grossly undertuned to the point it doesn't matter.

[...] Enemies within the pond will have their Attack Speed *reduced as well. * Well that's new. This ability definitely does too many things now. Having an ability that's overloaded to the point where it can be used as two different abilities altogether doesn't usually get justified by "you must make a decision". Especially not when said ability can just be barfed over the general area where the teamfight is happening.

[...] I.E. set your Q up in midlane, to show that your team is planning to siege mid and that the tree is place there for a reason, but in actuality that is not the plan. You can go take a sneaky baron or dragon while they go and DPS the tree. That's seriously not going to work like ever. Trust me. (hint: item 3649 )

I think most of the points I could make from the latter part of the post would basically be repetitions of the same things. So I'mma leave it here for now. Cheers!
