Malachi - The Benevolent Harvester

Primary Role - Tank Secondary Role - Mage

Passive Ability - Echoes of the Past Active Ability Q - Undying Grasp Active Ability W - Whispering Winds Active Ability E - Rendering Soul Ultimate Ability - Immortal Coil

Echoes of the Past Malachi grants the souls of the departed one last voice before passing them on to the afterlife. Any nearby allied or enemy units that die within a 1000 distance of Malachi release a ripple of spectral energy, causing different effects depending on who it was that died:

  • Allied Minions: The battle cries of the fallen grants a temporary +5% movement speed boost for 1.5 seconds to all allies within 150 distance of their death. Does not stack, only renews.
  • Enemy Minions: The wails of the departed slows enemies' movement speed temporarily by 5% for 1.5 seconds within 150 distance of their death. Does not stack, only renews.
  • Allied Champion: The battle cry heals allies for 2% (+0.25% x level) of their missing health and grants them a temporary 10% bonus movement speed for 2 seconds within 300 distance of their death. Movement speed can stack for multiple deaths.
  • Enemy Champion: The screams of their deaths send a chilling spectral energy into all enemies within 300 distance of their death, dealing 2% (+0.25% x level) magic damage to their current health and slows them by 10% for 2 seconds. The movement speed can stack for multiple deaths.

Undying Grasp Malachi dashes up to 400 distance away to grasp an enemy champion, sending spectral energy into them to chill them to the core. The enemy champion is snared for 1.5 seconds and takes 20/35/50/65/80 (+0.25 Ability Power) magic damage very half second for the duration of the ability, up to a maximum of 60/105/150/195/240 (+0.75 Ability Power) magic damage. Malachi cannot move or attack in this 1.5 seconds, but can still cast spells.

Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9 seconds

Whispering Winds Malachi summons the spirits of the fallen into a frenzied gale, allowing him to ignore unit collision as he surrounds himself in a raging torrent of wind. The winds surround Malachi up to 100 Area of Effect from him for 4 seconds. The first three ranged projectiles to hit the barrier are neutralised upon impact, and further ranged projectiles have their damage reduced by 40%/45%/50%/55%/60%. Melee attacks and some spells can penetrate through the barrier of wind. Additionally, any enemies who are caught within the gale take 20/30/40/50/60 (+5% bonus maximum health) magic damage per second and are slowed by 20%.

Cooldown: 26/24/22/20/18 seconds

Rendering Souls Malachi stores the souls of the victims he kills, keeping them for his own devices. All minions who die have their souls absorbed into Malachi, up to a maximum of 10 souls. Malachi then gains 5.0%/7.5%/10.0%/12.5%/15.0% bonus base mana regeneration for every soul he has collected. Malachi explodes out in a burst of spectral energy, dealing 40/75/110/145/180 (+0.30 Ability Power; +7.5% maximum health) magic damage to all enemies within a 350 Area of Effect. Additionally, all souls harvested from this ability's passive are released in the explosion, dealing 5/7.5/10/12.5/15 (+0.05 Ability Power; +0.5% maximum health) bonus magic damage and increasing the range of the Area of Effect by 15 for every soul released.

Cooldown: 12/12/12/12/12 seconds

Immortal Coil Malachi sheds his mortal form and becomes corporeal, belonging to the spirit realm for up to 6 seconds. The spectre that emerges in Malachi becomes immune to all basic attacks, but takes 175%/125%/75% increased spell damage while in this form. Malachi cannot basic attack while he is a spectre but can cast spells. Additionally, if Malachi should die while in spectre form he transforms into an Avenging Wraith, haunting the target that killed him and granting vision for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds has expired, or upon being activated early, Malachi instantly drains the soul of his target and replaces it with a blast of spectral energy, dealing 5.0/7.5/10.0% (+0.01 Ability Power) magic damage to their maximum health before he passes on into the afterlife. This ability, while in spectre form, can be reactivated early to return Malachi to his mortal form. The cooldown of this ability is then reduced by 5 seconds for every 1 second Malachi had left in his spectre form.

Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds

Tell me what you think guys!

I really thought that title said Hamster when i clicked on it. While it feels like a nice concept, I'm sorry, but it doesn't measure up to the benevolent hamster i had envisioned already.

on the topic though, the W and R are just too good. W is a free survival of most champions burst (3 attacks) and his R means he's a tank that can ignore the ADC, the tank killing class. just too much power to give to one champion imo.
