Lore: Clara Facieque was born into the middle class of Demacian nobility; neither too wealthy to be known nor poor enough to live in the streets. Even growing up as a child, she had dreams bigger than the restrictions of her social standings. After working her way to the top through her childhood and early adulthood, Clara was accepted into the College of Magic and there met Luxanna Crownguard. Their friendship, despite their different upbringings, caught quickly, and soon they were both good friends. Clara struggled in magic, and quite often needed help from the quick-learning Lux. As time went on, Clara began to see that Lux was a prodigy; excelling in classes and making her mark on the world. Clara had no place in her life, nor a place in the College of Magic where she could not distinguish herself.
Leaving the college and enlisting in the Demacian military, Clara's prowess with her rifle and her high discipline allowed her to rise through the ranks quickly. Showing a talent for infiltration, Clara was shifted to reconassiance where she excelled further and gained recognition for her talent - until Luxanna joined the Reconnasiance unit. Her unparallel ability to excel in everything she did cause her to rise even faster than Clara. Because of her distinguished advancement in the College of Magic and her highly respected family name, Lux's fame grew to even higher bounds as she made herself known to the Reconnasiance unit. Clara, forgotten in her glory and by Lux herself, left the unit with a vow to find a place she can be fully recognised.
After training with freelance mercenaries, giving her time to train and hone her skills, Clara found that she could be better at what she was: A trained killer with the talent for guns and the ability of battle magic. Her lethal percision and unshakable prowess for combat was all powered by a cold, unkillable rage that she was always second-best in her life. Determined to outshine the person who she once considered her friend, Clara tracked down Lux to the Fields of Justice and sought to bring an end to her glory; one way or another.
About Clara: Clara is a high mobility hybrid marksman who can utilise medium - long range attacks for effective poke while maintaining enough mobility for escape or manouverability in a fight. She can utilise either Attack Damage or Ability Power, but is more effective with both, and requires attack speed to combo with her passive and self buff.
Clara's Abilities: Passive Tracer Rounds [Passive, Enemy] Clara's rifle is powered with the energy of searing light and cold steel. Her basic attacks reveal the target for 1.5 seconds, extending by .75 seconds per basic attack, up to a maximum of 6 seconds. If the target is struck 3 times, they take 30/60/90/120 (+0.35 Attack Damage, +0.35 Ability Power) bonus physical damage and take 5/7.5/10% bonus damage from Clara's attacks and abilities [At levels 1/7/15].
Active 1 Arclight [Line Skillshot, Enemy] Clara charges up her rifle for 0.75 seconds, then fires a penetrating laser of light that deals 60/115/170/225/280 damage. This damage is either physical (and scales with a ratio of [+0.65 Attack Damage]) or magical (and scales with a ratio of [+0.75 Ability power]) depending on the state of Empowerment. If Empowerment has no level, the default damage is physical. Enemies hit gain 1 stack of Tracer Rounds. Mana Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana. Cooldown: 9/8.5/8/7.5/7 seconds.
Active 2 Empowerment [Toggle, Self Buff] Clara can empower her rifle two different ways: Steel, and Light: Steel: Clara's rifle gains 10/20/30/40/50 (+0.15/0.2/0.25/0.3/0.35 Attack Damage) bonus on-hit attack damage. If the target is affected by a 3rd stack of Tracer Rounds, this damage penetrates the targets armour. Light: Clara's rifle gains 10/20/30/40/50 (+0.2/0.25/0.3/0.35/0.4 Ability Power) bonus on-hit magic damage. If the target is affected by a 3rd stack of Tracer Rounds, this damage penetrates the target's magic resist and penetrates through any shield they may have (except spell shields).
Active 3 Blinding Implosion [Line Skillshot, Enemy] Clara fires a grenade out of her gun. Upon reaching its maximum distance or hitting an enemy the grenade explodes in a blinding light. The enemy hit directly by the grenade take 80/120/160/200/240 (+0.5 Attack Damage, +0.75 Ability Power) hybrid damage, are blinded for 1.5 seconds, and are slowed for 40/45/50/55/60% that decays over 2 seconds. Enemies hit around the target explosion take 50/90/120/150/180 (+0.35 Attack Damage, +0,5 Ability Power) hybrid damage and are slowed by 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% that decays over 2 seconds. Enemy's struck gain 1 stack of Tracer Rounds. Mana Cost: 85/85/85/85/85 mana Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds
Ultimate Blazing Light [Line, Self Buff] Clara dashes a short distance in a target direction, breaking free of all slows and gaining adrenaline rush for 3 seconds. While under adrenaline rush, Clara ignores 50% of any slow's effectiveness, gains 20/30/40% attack speed, and basic attacks and abilities that strike enemy champions gives Clara 15/20/25% bonus movement speed for 1.5 seconds. Kills or assists on enemy champions increase the duration of adrenaline rush by another 3 seconds and she can activate Blazing Light to dash again. After the adrenaline rush has ended, Blazing Light goes on cooldown. Mana Cost: 50/60/70 mana Cooldown: 16/14/12 seconds

Creators Notes: I've always considered Lux to be one of my personal favourites, but I realised that there is not much in the way of inner competition where Demacia is concerned; only competition between Demacia and it's enemies. After spending time thinking about it, I thought that a champion who is similar in theme but different in playstyle would be interesting in terms of an inner competition with Demacian against Demacian. Thus Clara was created: a vigilante champion of Demacia who utilizes light but is a marksman compared to Lux's mage playstyle. Whether you think this was good or bad in any way, don't be afraid to drop your opinion in on what you think, and don't hold it against my 'Junior Member' status.
