Battlecast Skins

As a little background, I've been practically obsessed with the Battlecast archetype since Battlecast Prime Cho'Gath was announced. Ever since then I've been compiling information to see any trends that might pop up in them. Here are my results...

As we all know, the Splash Art for Battlecast Prime Cho'Gath gave many 'hints' to later skins, so it was clear that Riot wanted to create more skins. If that wasn't enough hinting, one of the Spoiler/Teaser Pictures had what looked like file names for other champions, hinting more at new skins to come Splash Art Spoiler/Teaser Pictures

I think most people will agree that they stand for:

• Battlecast Xerath
• Battlecast Urgot
• Battlecast Skarner
• Battlecast Kog'Maw
• Battlecast Anivia

I could understand some debates about Kog'Maw being one of them, since the file name would of looked something like V-BC/KOG-v03.tbr.427745-33 instead, however no other champion even has 'maw' in their name.

Another thing intriguing about this list is that Battlecast Xerath was already out for an entire year before Battlecast Prime Cho'Gath, if they were teasing new skins, why would that be included?

Speaking of release dates... there is a particular trend in when they are released. Let's list all of the currently released Battlecast skins and how they align..

• Battlecast Xerath - October 5th, 2011
• Battlecast Urgot - March 5th, 2012
• Battlecast Prime Cho'Gath - October 3rd, 2012
• Creator Viktor - October 1st, 2013
• Battlecast Vel'Koz - February 27th, 2014

What we really want to look at are the release dates of Battlecast Xerath, Battlecast Prime Cho'Gath, and Creator Viktor have a trend to them. The only odd thing is that in order for the trend to be true, there would need to be a skin between Battlecast Prime Cho'Gath and Creator Viktor, right?

Well that's where rumors come in. Apparently During the whole Lissandra and the watchers branch they were doing, they were also designing Battlecast Anivia, which is coincidentally one of the teased skin ideas. To help the whole Freljord hype, they decided to change the colours to a blue/icy theme and release it as Blackfrost Anivia.

Now you may be asking, why does that matter? It has nothing to do with the battlecast series! That's where I believe you are wrong. Look at the release date of Blackfrost Anivia:

This happens to complete the trend. We all get to see if the trend continues, if it's mathematically true, we will get our next Battlecast Skin September 29th, 2014!

Of course this all depends on the rumor being true. If it isn't then I am incorrect and I need to have a plan B, which I do. Eternum Nocturne shares the same colour palette and similar sounds as the Battlecast Archetype, although isn't officially considered to be a Battlecast skin. However the release date fits my theory either way:

Again, it fits right in between Battlecast Prime Cho'Gath and Creator Viktor, which would complete the trend as stated previously.

Well now a question I get is "Well who will the champion be?" Of course I don't have 100% answer, I'm working off of theories and rumors. However, something recently gives a hint that I'm going in the right direction!

In Patch 4.14 Kog'Maw got a small particle update to his E: Void Ooze, most people just went with it, but why would they randomly fix up a particular texture for a particular ability so close to a theorized release date to a Battlecast Champion? Especially when Kog'Maw was teased to be one of them!

So if I would take an educated guess, I would theorize that:
