Another Mordekaiser Rework Concept

I primarily enjoy playing mordekaiser in aram, since most people don't seem to know what he does and the fact that mordekaiser sustain shines the most in crowded team fights. With the rework is coming along, i'm curious as to which direction Riot's going to take his kit. This interpretation is sort of what i want from mordekaiser, a slow moving magic-damage juggernaut with relatively simple kit and powerful sustain.

Visual-wise:

  1. Mordekaiser's Necrotic magic manifests itself as two phantasmal claws floating above his shoulders. this will be used in some abilities
  2. Nightfall (his mace) is tucked neatly in its bed unless summoned by Mordekaiser to the rift. Basic attack would be just him gut punching the living shit out of his enemies unless nightfall is summoned.

Kit-wise

Passive: Master of two Realms Some of Mordekaiser's Ability can separate the soul of his enemies from their body. The soul form is controllable by the enemy player while the body becomes automated as it chases for the soul. This applies to enemy champions and large (not epic) monsters. This effect ends when the body reunites with the soul. The soul and the body cannot be separated again for 12-3 seconds after they reunited (based on morde's lvl).

Soul: Soul form takes 10% True damage from any attacks and takes 1%-3% (increases every second separated) +1% every 100AP of their max health as magic damage per second while the soul is separated from the body. The soul also gains 15% bonus movement speed as it is freed from the body.

Body: The body takes 90% - 1% every 50AP Reduced damage while separated from the soul and is snared for the first 2 seconds during which the body cannot merge with the soul again (in this two second the body appears downed). Body also gains 50-100% bonus tenacity over 10 seconds.

Q: Night falls to the unfortunate 35/40/45/50/55 Health 12/11/10/9/8 Seconds Cooldown

Mordekaiser summons Nightfall. His attack for the next three attacks deals 20/35/50/65/80% AD + 50%AP extra magic damage and knocks the body of his enemies away from their soul, stunning the soul. Cooldown is reduced by 0.5 seconds from morde's basic attacks.

If the enemy is already separated, the body is knocked back again with respect to their tenacity. If the enemy cannot be separated at the time, the stun still applies, but not the knock-back.

Knockback Distance: 300/330/360/390/420 unit Stun Duration : 0.5 Second bonus attack range : 75 Unit (from 175 to 250) Lasts up to: 5 seconds windup: 0.2 seconds

W: Claws of Sorrow 6% current health 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds

Mordekaiser's swipes twice at a target direction using his phantasmal claws, each swipe dealing 30/45/60/75/90 +30%AD + 30%AP Magic damage in an area in front of him and giving Mordekaiser 30/45/60/75/90 + 15%AP shield per enemy hit (Max of 2 enemies per swipe). Shield lasts for up to 5 seconds

Mordekaiser heals 3/3.5/4/4.5/5% of his max health for each enemy that got hit twice (50% less against non champions)

_Range: 450 unit width : 250 unit can be cast while moving, attacking, and while casting Q&E. _

E: Soul-shattering smash (bad name, ik) 45/55/65/75/85 Health cost 8 seconds cooldown

Mordekaiser summons Nightfall, leaps a short distance to a target direction and overhead smash his mace to the ground where he lands, dealing 90/110/130/150/170% AD Physical Damage and 45/60/75/90/105 + 60%AP magic damage to the target area. He then leaps halfway back to where he was. Enemies that got hit close to Mordekaiser have their bodies knocked away from their soul. If Mordekaiser hits an enemy champion, he heals back 6/7/8/9/10% of his missing health + 35%AP.

If already separated, the soul and body gets knocked away from mordekaiser. if cannot be separated, the enemy is knocked away.

windup: 0.4 seconds Leap range: 300 unit fixed Knockback Radius: 200 unit Damage Radius : 250 unit knockback range: 300 unit leaps back after: 1 second

R: Ruler over the living and the dead 10% current health 130/115/100 seconds cooldown

Passive: Whenever an enemy dies while having their body and soul separated, the soul will turn into a specter with 50% of the their stats (except for MS and AS) and starts attacking nearby enemies for 8/12/16 seconds (Deals magic damage. Can be controlled with ctrl + rc. can have more than one at a time but all follows the same command).

Mordekaiser sends out both of his phantasmal claws at a target direction, dealing 120/170/230 + 80%AP magic damage and stopping at the first enemy champion hit. The claws will then rips the soul of the enemy champion away from their body and into Morde's melee range while mordekaiser gains a shield equal to 10/14/18% of his maximum health that decays over 5 seconds. If the champion cannot be separated, the claws deal 25% bonus damage.

(Does not interact with separated body, but still can grab the soul if already separated)

_Mordekaiser is snared while casting this ability, much like thresh or blitz. _ Range: 700 units Width : 250 units
