I am probably really really late but:

All things must meet this man. So, they shunned him.

The vortex resembles a tunnel of light which has been associated with passing for ages.

All meet Death, and kinda hate it for that.

The duality theme makes it unlikely that this champ will represent ONLY death it may be part life and part death.

and before someone goes on about Death's gender since Death is a unique being and a constant then it doesnt matter that much. Also fictional world fictional character. Quite possible that 1 man can be split into two different things as well, one side may even be the more feminine side now or something, and IMO that sounds pretty cool

Edit: Hopefully this means it will be an exciting new caster, definitely not just a support. The real question is how would they represent both Life and Death in abilities? Alternating ability forms (think Elise) or a strange situational change to what abilities do (think Renekton) ?

The lore implications if it were Death Itself are pretty groundbreaking. What would Karthus think about it?

I'm hoping it's actually two beings walking around and not a transformation.

Kind of like Ice Climbers in Smash Brothers.

When you press R you control (Lamb) and (Wolf) follows, when you press it again you are now (Wolf) and (Lamb) follows.

To be honest I had an idea similar to this a while ago with a light mage / dark mage who are married (possible Annie's parents) but I wanted it to be slightly different that the light mage does damage and the dark mage heals. Would be neat using darkness to heal and light to harm.

At some point last week Riot said they woukdnt have two people in the same champion for some kind of difficult reasons I forget. So it's either transformation or just two separate champions most likely. Unless they trolling.

Think of Hel from the Game Smite And Nordic Folklore. Two beings in one and both together form the goddess of hell (and death indirectly). You have the Dark Hel who is unforgiving and punish, while you have the light that is carefree and take care of others even in hell. They are the judge, the punisher and the healer for souls.

If Lamb and wolf represent the 'Death' embodiement of League, they probably took a part of that lore for inspiration.

What if it is more of an existential thing? Nocturne is a physical nightmare, maybe this could be the physical conscience/existence of light and dark inside everyone, but with a twist.

Maybe they are another cosmic being, like bard, but maybe like the opposite side. Instead of saving important people/things, maybe they remove dangerous people/ things?

i do beleive that this champion is a representation of death, all must die and all fear death. The dualaity involved in the champion is a nod to the dual nature death can have. It can be a peaceful and compassionate release from suffering, lamb sounds very peaceful and kind, but it can also be a painful punishment, wolf seems very harsh and unforgiving.

Based on the information from this text, I think the next champion was originally a pale man with dark hair and an axe as his weapon. He's lonely because all things must meet this man. Which, as you suggested, implies life and death (since we all eventually start and end someday). This makes you question, is/was he a celestial being? He was able to split himself into two halves, one is lamb, the other is a wolf. Does this imply this champion is an AP champion? After all, he had enough power to split himself into two halves. (Does this mean this champion's ult changes the character completely? Like Elise's spider toggle but it changes the champion from lamb to wolf or wolf to lamb?) Since he could have been a celestial being, could he have some relationship to Soraka? Then what would this mean about Warwick (since he's literally a wolf)? Could the lamb and wolf mean something symbolically? The lamb for life and the wolf for death? The man was pale (lamb) with dark hair (wolf). If the lamb and wolf make up the same champion, would they have split personalities? Moving on tho the audio, the swirl is black and white and appears on what seems to be either an ancient tree or from the ground. What could this mean? It's such sad and mysterious music...how lonely must he have been to be shunned for who knows how long?

Lamb is white with a black mask(pale man), while Wolf is black with a white mask(dark hair).

Honestly, it seems less like an explicit good/bad, life/death thing to me, and with the wood imagery it seems to sort of suggest a taoist influence of absolution through nothingness, emptiness. Yin rises, Yang falls. Lamb hunts, which is to end one life to prolong another.

All in all, it seems like a very cryptic champ, but definitely up my ally. Imagine having Sated Devourer so you got two dogs running around?
