In lieu of the Juggernaut reworks that recently hit PBE (loving Darius in particular) I think a certain hot mage needs a bit of love since he has been in a bad place as of late. A potential rework of him I would love to see is to put him as not some mage that uses fire. But THE fire mage in LOL. With that here is the kit I think he should have as a starting point. Everyone on here can contribute their ideas and collectively I think we can figure out a good place that can put the hot head back into the current meta.

**Passive: Blaze ** Brand's spells light his targets ablaze, dealing 8% of their maximum Health in magic damage over 4 seconds. As Brand uses his abilities, his flames grow brighter and hotter eventually making Brand go White Hot. While White Hot Brand's abilities evolve into greater versions of themselves.


Q: Sear / Scorch

Passive: Pyromaniac Each unit on fire reduces Brand's cooldowns by 4%

Active: Sear Brand launches a ball of fire forward that deals magic damage. If the target is ablaze, Sear will stun the target for 2 seconds.

Scorch While White Hot, Brand lobs a large fireball that lands on a target area, dealing magic damage. If the target is ablaze, Scorch will stun the central target for 2 seconds while slowing all others by 70% which decays over 2 seconds.

Sear: Brand launches a ball of fire forward that deals 80/120/160/200/240 (+65% Ability Power) magic damage.

Scorch: Brand lobs a fireball at a target area that deals 100/140/180/220/260 (+75% Ability Power) magic damage.

Blaze: If the target is ablaze, Sear/Scorch will stun the target for 2 seconds.


W: Pillar of Flame / Eruption Pillar of Flame After a short delay, Brand creates a pillar of flame at a target area, dealing magic damage to enemy units within the area. Units that are ablaze take an additional 25% damage.

Eruption While White Hot, Brand erupts the ground underneath a target area after a brief delay, dealing magic damage and knocking up enemy units within the area. After the eruption the ground remains on fire for 3 seconds setting enemy units ablaze. Units that are ablaze take an additional 25% damage.

Pillar of Flame: After a short delay, Brand creates a pillar of flame at a target area, dealing 75/120/165/210/255 (+60% Ability Power) magic damage to enemy units within the area.

Eruption: After a short delay, Brand erupts the ground underneath a target area, dealing 105/150/195/240/285 (+80% Ability Power) magic damage to enemy units within the area.

Blaze: Units that are ablaze take an additional 25% damage from Pillar of Flame


E: Conflagration / Raging Inferno Conflagration Brand conjures a powerful blast at his target, dealing magic damage to them. If the target is ablaze, Conflagration spreads to nearby enemies.

Inferno While White Hot, Brand channels briefly on a target before unleashing a massive inferno, dealing magic damage to them and surrounding enemy units. Raging Inferno spreads to other enemy units hit by the AoE blast up to 3 times.

Conflagration: Brand conjures a powerful blast at his target, dealing 70/105/140/175/210 (+55% Ability Power) magic damage.

Raging Inferno: Brand channels for .25 seconds before conjuring a massive blast at his target, dealing 95/130/165/195/230 (+75% Ability Power) magic damage.

Blaze: If the target is ablaze, Conflagration spreads to nearby enemies.


R: Pyroclasm / Incandescence Pyroclasm Brand unleashes a devastating torrent of fire, dealing magic damage each time it bounces. If a target is ablaze, Pyroclasm will priotize champions for the next bounce.

Incandescence While White Hot, Brand unleashes an obliterating wave of fire that bounces from target to target, dealing magic damage. If the target dies, they explode into a blast of white fire, dealing magic damage to the surrounding area and increasing the damage of Incandescence by 25%.

Pyroclasm: Brand unleashes a devastating torrent of fire, dealing 150/250/350 (+50% Ability Power) magic damage each time it bounces up to 5 bounces.

Incandescence: Brand unleashes an obliterating wave of fire, dealing 200/300/400 (+60% Ability Power) each time it bounces up to 5 bounces. If Incandescence kills a target, they explode dealing 150 magic damage and increase the damage of Incandescence by 25%.

Blaze: If a target is ablaze, Pyroclasm / Incandescence will prioritize champions for the next bounce.

Feedback would be nice and I would love to have a discussion about this with everyone who has played Brand in the past and felt like he needs a boost. I'm not saying this is the way to go I'm just saying this would be a great way to make him more fun to play and possibly put him in a healthier place.

It's definitely a smart idea..but it overloads his kit with a lot of stuff. Plus, he's kind of in a pretty strong/decent position currently after Rylais was reworked.

Brand is fun however i would like to see some gimmicky mechanics and/or more strategic uses of his spell sequences.
