With all the Back to the Future stuff that has been all over the place lately I realized what I think would be a cool idea. I am not artistic so I couldn't draw or come up with any visuals for the skins but I think it would be awesome if riot made a Doc Zilian skin and an Ekko McFly skin. For the Zilian skin whenever he uses the speed boost you could do something involving saying 88 mph and maybe have bombs that look similar to the flux capacitor. For Ekko instead of the bat he could have an electric guitar and have a flux capacitor on his belt to go back in time. I am sure there are lots of other things you could do for the skins also but Ekko definitely kind of gives off a Marty McFly vibe and Zilian could use a new skin and he already has the hair to be Doc Brown. Plus they are both time travelers. Anyone that is artistic feel free to draw up a splash or concept art of these skins. I bet they could look awesome.

there was a splash art some one posted awhile back of ezreal / zilean for this that was amazing.

ekko is black so no, cry racism all you want, but no he doesnt fit, even if his lore is time based it doesnt matter. its like the recent fantastic four movie, it didnt work.

ezreal doesnt use a "weapon", which makes it fit more, even though they had the western movie with guns, you wouldnt be making the skins based on that movie, you would go off the first one.

...Wait wait I'm sorry what? What does him being black have to do with anything? Skin colour has absolutely no impact on this what so ever. It's an OUTFIT. There is no cultural significance to it at all. The movie even says that the outfit he wore is the style at the time.

and just looking at ekkos default pic, hes got white face paint, but its not racist unless its a white person with brown/black paint?

its ok for blacks to take over white roles, but god forbid its the other way around thats what youre saying basically

if you let ekko be marty, then might as well let annie be doc and tibbers will be the car

You know what, this you COULD portray with Oprah, because 'Queen of England' is a title that anyone of any race can hold. If you were to say make a movie about Queen Elizabeth II (the current Queen), then she should be portrayed by a Caucasian female because Queen Elizabeth II is a Caucasian female.

That's not what I'm saying in the slightest. What I'm saying is race has no impact in this particular case because one of the first things you think of when you think 'Back to the Future' and 'Marty McFly' isn't the fact that he was played by a white guy.

Because in this case it's the OUTFIT's that are iconic. Sure the characters are important too, but if you took literally just the clothes they wore and asked someone 'what movie is this from?', people would be able to tell you. What was Nelson Mandela's 'outfit'? What was the Queen's 'outfit'?

I'm done with this. If you can't distinguish the difference between someones RACE being iconic and someones OUTFIT being iconic, then the issue isn't with me. It's with you.

k so its settled, the doc skin goes to annie so tibbers can be the car since you dont care at all about picking some one that actually LOOKS like the character, all you care about is the clothes.

and all the things you pointed out just show the amount of hypocrisy in race discussions, its ok for blacks to take white roles, but if a white is in a black role its not ok.

and im pretty sure there has never been a black queen of England, and never will be in our lifetime.

marty mcfly is a caucasian male, and the skin should go to a caucasian male. there i said caucasian instead of white, so im a pc moron now too

i understand you are a racially blind perfect angel in your mind, but the fact is, the characters are caucasian and if they make a skin for them it should go to caucasian champions

you keep using the "its just the outfits" argument

like i said, if thats all that matters then let annie have the lab coat with tibbers as the car, or even let it be kalista and her ult could be the car, if you are going to give the life preserver vest and jeans to ekko for no real reason

also ekko is a small child, marty is not

they dont fit, end of story

zilean fits because he looks the most like doc of any champ

ezreal fits because he looks the most like marty of any champ, i would say garen because of hair color but marty did not have a body builder physique

for marty you could even go with jayce "defender of tommorow" is his title, even though league lore is in a pathetic state, but jayce doesnt look like marty, jayce looks more like a jock, and marty was a little scrawny guy which is what ezreal looks like

Look, I don't want to be rude, but isn't this the eighth thread asking for the same thing?

We get it, Zilean and Ekko are time travelers. Think of other ideas, like Ecino Gnar (since he's kind of a fish out of temporal water), Doctor Wu(kong), Urgone but not Urgotten, and so on.

Doc Zilean and Ekko McFly has been suggested several times, there's even fanart of it now!

Consider this criticism (sorry). Make sure to do some quick research to ensure you're not rehashing something that's been suggested until the cows go home. I mean, those pictures I just linked took one google search ("back to the future league of legends" was my search terms if you're curious) and were on the top.
