[CHAMPION COLLABORATION DISCUSSION] Champion Concept Interactions between other Champion Concepts?

Hello, everybody! DMC75001 here! I'm here to talk about...well, Interactions! What do I mean by that? Well, allow me to clarify!

When I see the Boards community, I think of it as a big posting board for ways to improve the League of Legends. However, there are some times where people post some awesome content, and they get rarely noticed. To me, that defeats the purpose of the Boards, as it is supposed to serve as a hub where other Riot fans can interact and modify with the League of Legends universe.

I have seen many great champion concept artists in these Boards; Flintfall (Dane, the Silver Star), Yousosmart (Miss Fortune Harrowing Skin), The Neverworld (Mona, the Void Princess), and many others that I can't name off the top of my head. But, all of these artists are but a fraction of the many great champion ideas that are in the Boards! And, we need to work together to help improve our content!

Thus, I propose this. With their permission, we can create champion interactions between other champion concepts that tend to fit in the concept's lore or personality.

Reasons:

  1. This will encourage other artists to look at other people's champion concepts and have a sense of how they can interact with the other champions.
  1. Looking at other Champion Concepts will also help obtain ideas for future champion concepts!
  1. Connecting with other Champion Concepts makes the champion more meaningful to the user and the others that he collaborated with, and will also help connect with other users in the Boards community!
  1. Encourages great teamwork and collaboration between Champion Concept Artists!
  1. Through collaboration, you can get to know the Concept Artist better and what their strengths and weaknesses are. That way, you know what content to expect and what you can help them on!

Explanation:

The main goal of this collaboration is to encourage friendly Champion Concept Artists to work with their fellow members. Mainly, after obtaining permission from said artist, Champion Concepts can have certain interactions with other Champion Concepts. This can be expanded to attacking the champion, interacting with the champion through taunts or jokes, maybe even certain quotes! The possibilities are endless!

I have made many champion concepts, my most recognizable one being "Zero, the Primal Pursuant" (v.3.1). I would love to work with fellow designers and create interaction between lore, skins, kits, etc. As for the poll, I voted for personality; different champions in League of Legends have similar feels because they more than likely were made by the same designer. Additionally, I want every champion, in-game or fan-made, to be distinguishable and unique.

I've actually collabed a few times before, mostly it was writing the lore for them or helping them bounce ideas off of. I find it a very rewarding experience, and the opportunity to be a part full fledged (fan) concept team (gameplay, narrative, artwork) would be totally sick!

Since there is no combined options, I said personality because it really ties everything together. A personality directs the kit, quotes, and heavily influences the lore.

EDIT: Forgot to add art collabs, Randy Toroni did two commissions for me (both of which kick serious arse), and that was BY FAR the most rewarding of all the collabs!

EDIT: Also, in terms of characters, you can't put ANY category over another. Kits, lore, whatever. All of it has to mesh well on some level and at least be competantly designed in every category. Amazing lore is pointless if the kit is a mess and even the best kit is diluted when it's given to Frank, the Guy.

Yes.

I hope this gets popular, then we can add a list of champions that will be compatible for Interaction. With enough dedicated creators and lore background, we might even be able to create a new nationality.
