Aoife, the Winter Refugee

Aoife is a crowd-control oriented, sustained-damage mage who manipulates the deadly storm pursuing her to her own advantage.

Statistics Statistics are roughly average unless otherwise noted. Health: 540-1980 (Slightly above average for a mage. Comparable to Bard.) Health Regen: 5.4-14.8 Mana: 320-1220 Mana Regen: 6-15 Attack Damage: 55-109 Attack Speed: .625 (+0-36%) Armor: 22-85 Magic Resist: 30 Movement Speed: 330 Attack Range: 450 (Short for a mage. Comparable to Vladimir.)

Abilities Passive Aoife is followed by a brutal storm; every five seconds, the storm begins to drift towards her current location. Enemies within the storm are slowed by 15%. If Aoife is within the storm, she is slowed by 5% The storm is 400 units across (4 Teemos), and moves at a speed of 250 units per second. If its distance from Aoife exceeds 1300 units (one Nidalee spear), it blinks so that its center is 500 units away from her in the direction of its original location. A ring around Aoife indicates this range. (See Orianna’s E.)

Q Fatal Flurry 40/50/60/70/80 Mana Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9 seconds Damage per second: 30/40/50/60/70 + (20% AP) For the next 4 seconds, Aoife’s storm does magic damage to enemies caught within it. If Aoife is within the storm, she takes half damage.

W Winter’s Kiss 50/60/70/80/90 Mana Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds Damage 80/100/120/140/160 + (60% AP) Range: 800 units (Roughly half a Nidalee spear.) Movement Speed Increase: 10/15/20/25/30% Aoife fires a linear colliding skillshot that deals magic damage. If it hits a champion, it marks them for 6 seconds, causing Aoife’s storm to gain movement speed and to track them instead of her for the duration. (This retargeting is continuous, unlike her passive.)

E Storm Gate 70 Mana Cooldown: 22/20/18/16/14 seconds Root Duration: .5/.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds Aoife blinks to the center of her storm, rooting enemies within it.

R Heart of Ice 100 Mana 120/105/90 seconds Magic Damage: 250/350/450 + (70% AP) Passive - Aoife’s storm grows in size by 20/30/40%. Active - Aoife channels for two seconds, freezing the storm in place. The storm’s slow increases to 70% over the duration of the channel. At the end of the channel, Aoife deals magic damage to each enemy within the storm and stuns them for one second.

Background Aoife was always sickly child, at at the young age of two, she perished in the icy wastes of the Freljord. Her mother, however didn’t give up. A talented thief and explorer, she managed to obtain a shard of eggshell () purported to have miraculous properties. When she placed the eggshell between Aoife’s icy lips, the child opened her eyes, wondrously alive, and the mother rejoiced. She had stolen the child’s life back from Winter herself, and Winter was not best pleased. From the day that the child opened her frozen eyes until the day her heart grows cold, Winter will hunt her. For no one cheats Nature for long.

Skins Default Aoife is a slight girl, about 17 years old. She is dressed very warmly in blue and white, and her breath fogs the air, as if it were very cold. The storm appears as a white cloud; when her Q is active, snow falls from it; when her R is active, the affected area is coated with ice.

Tempest Aoife Aoife remains dressed in winter gear, although in darker blues. The storm is a grey thundercloud; her Q takes the form of lightning bolts and her R causes waves to crash through the targeted area.
