[Champion Concept] Dara'kusa, Blight of the Void
Summary
Dara'Kusa is a flexible void support that can easily swap from assisting allies to helping them tear something down. (I've done so many of these concepts over the years I'm not gonna bother with fine details, this kit has just been on my mind for a while).
Abilities
Passive - Covenant Of The Corruptor Passive - Dara'Kusa's allies are under the influence of the Void a Nest Core is created at the fountain. When an enemy or jungle monster dies there is a chance they will leave behind Flesh, which will rot away in time. Dara'Kusa and his allies can stand near Flesh to devour it. Dara'kusa's Nest Core can allow himself and his allies to augment one of three stats for each stack of Flesh they've devoured (10 minute cd when a choice is made)
- AD or AP - +.2 for normal monster and minions, +.5 for champions and epic monsters
- HP - +2 for normal monsters and minions, +4 for champions and epic monsters
- Large minions, large monsters, epic monsters, and champions are guaranteed to drop Flesh Active - After a 2 second, uninterrupted Channel, Dara'Kusa teleports next to target allied Champion (90 second cd)
Note - Each Flesh spawn is shared for all champions and wont vanish until all champions have devoured it or its time to live is expired. Also allied champions drop Flesh when they die as well
Q - Abyssal Grasp Ally - Target is protected by a chrysalis, absorbing 70/105/140/175/210(+ 60% AP) damage for 5 seconds, and healing for half of the amount shielded. Enemy - Target is Rooted for 1 second and silenced for 2 seconds. The target also takes 20/25/30/35/40(+15% AP) magic damage every .5 seconds for the duration of the silence.
W - Life-Shaping Talons Dara'Kusa's basic attacks deal 34/38/102/136/170(+40% AP) magic damage with every strike and heals Dara'Kusa for 50% of the damage dealt. Dara'Kusa may now target allied champions with his basic attacks, spending 5/10/15/20/25 mana and instead healing the target for 75% of the damage that would be dealt.
E - Voidhaze 3 Charges Dara'Kusa taints an area with a long lasting void energy (larger radius with each level), allowing himself and allied champions in Voidhaze to gain 6/10/14/18/22%(+1% per 100 AP) movement speed and become camouflaged after 1.5 seconds of not attacking or using abilities.
R - Mark Of The Starving Ones Dara'Kusa Channels for 1 second (uninterruptible) to incite a feeding frenzy on a target enemy or send a target ally into a feeding frenzy. Ally - Target goes into a frenzy, taking 30% reduced damage from all sources, immunity to slow/root effects, and gaining 30% movement speed for 6 seconds. All enemy champions in a 400 radius of the target when cast are fed on by the target, taking 10/13/16%(+2% per 100 AP) of their maximum hp as true damage and healing the target for 12/16/20%(+2% per 100 AP) of their maximum hp per enemy effected over the duration of 6 seconds. Enemy - Target is struck with a crippling hunger, taking 30% increased damage from all sources, becoming grounded, and is slowed by 30% for 6 seconds. All allied champions in a 400 radius of the target when cast feed on them, each healing for 12/16/20%(+2% per 100 AP) of their maximum hp and dealing 10/13/16%(2% per 100 AP) of the targets maximum hp as true damage per ally effected over the duration of 6 seconds.
Note - Both the damage and healing effects of this ability are dealt over time, not instantly.
Note - I was thinking of giving him the title "Voice of the Void" but wasn't sure if that would fit with the watchers wanting silence again or if it overlapped with malzahar.

Lore
- After action report to the Merchants Coalition of Shurima, 2nd Incursion -
The trading and resupply village near Xer'Sai territory has been retaken and surveyed. It has been recommended that it be abandoned until it can be properly cleansed, if possible. All that remained were misshapen abominations of varying strengths. We managed to capture one of the creatures as the village was purged. This eerie purple fog that blankets the village has lightened with most of the creatures dealt with. Upon closer inspection before burning the bodies, my men have discovered jewelry and bits you armor fusing to some of them. These nightmarish things were once human!? Once discovering this we bound the surviving creature with magic and after many.. many varied purification rituals, managed to gift the poor thing enough sanity to speak.
_After its bellowing please for death slowed enough to question, we finally gained needed answers to piece the chain of events together. He had lost huge gaps of memory, forgetting his own name. He was a mercenary, part of the first incursion, inspecting the claims of multiple traders heading to this village that reported disturbing fog over it and hearing agonized wailing from a distance. His band made camp within walking distance of their destination so as to inspect it refreshed and alert.
As they made their way into that accursed purple fog they soon discovered that sunlight could not pierce its vale. With torches, they began inspecting the area, so chillingly silent. Across the village all the men reported finding half eaten corpses and limbs that were discolored and misshapen. As if some plague had ravaged the land. They noticed, however, that the grim signs of what transpired far under reached the supposed population a village that size should support. Where were those unaccounted for? As they prepared to burn the remains the guard posted outside the fog signaled danger.
They rushed out to see a horde of Xer'Sai descending upon the village. Wondering why these vicious, territorial, little monsters would venture out of their own bounds. Were they responsible for whats happened? A messenger was dispatched to call in reserved reinforcement and they prepared to meet the devils.
The battle raged into the evening. Though the mercenaries held strong some began to tire and fall. Unable to retreat, facing insurmountable odds, they steeled themselves for their last stand. Suddenly, a loud and deep shriek echoed from the village. The Xer'Sai whimpered and fled into the night. Even more unsettling then the little beasts odd behavior of leaving their hunting grounds was that unearthly cry that they seemed to obey, almost fear. Only their brutal queen ever commanded such respect from them. What terrible.. thing.. could possibly compel the Xer'Sai to obey?
With their messenger already sent, presumably coming with reinforcements the mercenaries returned to camp. Come what may, they were at the end of their rope when the battle ended, they needed rest no matter what. Guard rotations were posted again, signal horns at the ready. In a few days reinforcements finally arrived and the mercenaries prepared to search the village in depth. Surely such a creature capable of provoking such odd behavior from the Xer'Sai would be a serious threat to major settlements, possibly shurima as a whole. It needed to be identified, killed if possible.
The mercenaries once again ventured into the village, shortly after eating to build stamina. Wadding through the purple fog, a crocked voice echoed out. "Morsels.. the little morsels have returned? Yes.. yes, but.. new pieces as well. sweet they smell." "You Speak? What are you? To command such foul creatures? Did you ravage this village!?" cried the mercenary. "Still morsels step so sure, so.. confident.. through haze. Vermin did well... thinning weak." Ignoring the mans questions it continued, "Acceptable.. until stronger wills found. However.. new morsels must be thinned too."
Abruptly, seemingly from the fog itself, hordes of monstrous creatures began clawing at the mercenaries. As the man slew one he looked down into its eyes and saw something almost human in them. The villagers weren't all killed, but corrupted into these abominations. Steadying himself from this realization the man went to aid an overwhelmed comrade, being eaten alive. Quickly falling to dodge a long, monstrous limb swaying out from the fog toward the mans comrade. Halting above his comrade, it started pulling something out of the mans body. As the mercenary watched all color leave his comrades body he felt a distinct sense of "nothing" left inside. As if his very spark of life was fed upon.
Before the man could react, another limb had crept up behind him and encased his legs with threads covered in a sticky ooze. Trying to free himself only snared his arms as well. In a matter of moments he was completely cocooned, forced to watch as the others were either overwhelmed and captured as he was or simply became food for the twisted villagers.
Finally, the only one left standing was a shaman of sorts that had recently joined the group. To make it this far he had invoked powerful artifacts to enhance his body. He was cleaving through the villagers with unnatural ferocity and gaining ground. The man watched on, hoping the shaman may yet turn the fight in their favor. It wasn't to last though.
Suddenly the many limbs that were snatching up mercenaries and tasting the fallen converged over the shaman. A blackened aura engulfed him as his weapons fell out of his hands and doubled over, stumbling to retrieve them. "Defiant little morsel! Crutches give you no value! You... are food. Nothing more!" roared the beast as the aura over the shaman intensified. The villagers misshapen forms loosed a hungering wail and as the shaman's body was slowly ripped apart, the piece drifting through the air to many of them in streams. The man collapsed, fatigue catching up to him.
The man awoke just outside the largest house in the village. The villagers had vanished. The monster, still only revealing his limbs through the fog, was spinning his threads under a large black orb pulsing with palpable energy. The man wriggled and squirmed to look around for others that were captured. Everyone else had been fully cocooned and were pulsing with similar energy.
Exasperated at his impending end the mercenary asked the creature "what are you doing to them?" The limbs turned to him and began to poke and rub his exposed parts, as if probing. Finally it responded simply with "Repurposing..." Surprised, the man ask "Repurpose? Why not eat us too?" "Morsels here hold strong wills. Devouring fully, wasteful. Consume unnecessary parts only." the creature responded. Confused the man asked "what use are we to you?" "Acceptable tools.. until better tools found and repurposed."Saying that, the creature finished cocooning the mercenary and he felt a huge surge of energy forced into his body before blacking out. _
The village was searched thoroughly both physically and magically. No black orb was found and based on the mercenaries story we believe the creature abandoned this area, leave only a small portion of its victims behind for reasons unknown. After finishing with the mercenary, put to rest and his body burned. It is my personal opinion that this report be circulated to all regions with urgency, in hopes of tracking such a creature and ending it before its mysterious goals are reached.
