How Riot can make tons of money and massively improve the skin system in League
So awhile ago with the release of Prehistoric Anivia, I came up with an idea, one that I honestly feel really good about and that could, as the title suggests, massively improve the skin system in League.
The Idea:
That idea is to release purchasable models, voiceovers, and effect changes that are compatible with all current and future skins. Essentially allowing you to pick the model, voice, and effects to have a kind of "build your own skin" system out of the parts Riot decided to release. Ideally, these would be compatible with all skins including the default so that if you want to make a small change to the default, you can, or if you really like a certain model and want to change its effects, you can. This idea originated from the disappointment I frequently saw in friends when they saw a new skin with a really nice model that was stuck with default effects and doomed to be a cheap skin, both figuratively and literally. This would, in theory, make every skin that has ever been released ever desirable, because maybe people liked an old skin but wanted better particles, or a voiceover for it, and this makes that a possibility.
The Pricing and why this interests everybody:
My idea for pricing everything for this was to sell everything as individual pieces priced accordingly so that if you were to buy say a new model, new voiceover, and new particles, and match them all together, it would land at 1350 RP like a skin normally would with all that(unless it's really nice), so the prices wouldn't really change. The part about that that's really great though is that players can say "I've only got $5 to spend, guess I'll just grab some new particles for now". This would allow pretty much anyone to make some change to their champ, and even build on it over time if they were so inclined. In addition to allowing Riot to just release a part that's cool without a greater whole behind it if they wanted.
My attempt to allay any concerns:
Prices shouldn't change, and Riot could obviously still release stuff that's meant to go together like current skins. I'm not coming on here and saying that Riot has to take care and make sure that every possible combination conceivable looks great and matches perfectly. What I'm here suggesting is that Riot just throws us the pieces, makes sure there's no sharp corners(bugs), and then let us mash them together however we want. You want black and red Karma particles on the default model? Boom, here you go. Rainbow Xerath particles on his scorched earth skin for some reason? Boom.

I don't want you guys to spam this anywhere, but if you like it and want to tell your friends, go ahead and give the link here to this post or to the petition. Same if you see somebody wishing for different particles, voices, or even a skin that is yet to be made.
