Please add a report button to champion select

So, I'm waiting through a queue dodge timer writing this because I dodged. Why did I dodge? Because somebody else in draft pick wanted my role so they banned my pick and locked in theirs to go mid. So it seemed to me I had three choices: Dodge, duo mid and ruin the game for everyone, or just get shoved into a role I don't want to play on the whim of another player. I would have been forced into support, which I have been playing all day and wanted some time off of. If somebody decides to do this, the only recourse is to play a 20-60 minute game in a forced position and report them at the end.

This is not the first time that this has happened to me, and it won't be the last, and so I feel that a report button for champion select would be appropriate; even if it can't get rid of the queue dodge penalty that you are given immediately, it can stop dodges from piling up on your account behind the scenes and leading to harsher action, and hopefully enable the tribunal to take appropriate action against these players. The current system allows these players to wrong you and win by miles, because it would require a lot of reports from people going through these games to ever get any action taken against the problem player.

This needs to be implemented.

I would pick option 3...if this was ranked anyway

Even then, youre just extending queue time for 9 other players by dodging

I think it is a good idea and i very much support the thought of it and think it would be healthy for the game, but i think the only problem for Riot if they put this in the game would be, how they should be able to detect if the report is valid or invalid, that said if they find a way to put it in the game, i think it would clean out a lot of toxicity, thereby making the game more healthy.

Yeah report or vote kick in champ select. For norms, too since norms is still competitive and people wanna win

Don't believe that would help the issue at all, but more or less make it worse. That happen a lot before the new Que system it was "first to call and pick order" A report button in lobby would just lead to abuse of it when someone picks a off-meta pick for a role. Which would make riot's "https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/EtXQhs5J-weore-updating-our-policy-so-unusual-play-styles-dont-get-14-day-bans" a moot point. Some times its best just to be the bigger person when stuff like this happen. I like doing darius support from time to time so a report option in lobby would get spammed a lot just for what players think are "troll picks" when the "troll pick" is doing the best on the team an will get punished for it.

I think the only way this will work, is if you queue dodge and there is the ability to ask why you queue dodged. You answer the questions, report any involved players, wait your dodge time and let things happen that way.

Riot can record full games, I don't see why they couldn't record champ select. Especially since champ select can be deleted as soon as the match is cleared out with no reports.

You guys do realize that Riot can see everything you do within their client right?

If you guys would stop dodging, you can report them. You are basically giving them a free ride by dodging. Ignore them, report them, then let Riot deal with it.
