Mal Hal, Piltover's Ace Detective


Passive: Torch: Range: 450 initial, leashes to 700

The Hextech Nightstick that Hal carries changes his standard attacks into a tethered, damage over time effect. It deals (85% AD) Physical Damage + (65% AP) Magic Damage with 1-4% (Levels 1/6/11/16) Maximum Health damage once per second while the tether holds. The tether is formed at 450 units away and will remain until Hal targets another valid enemy unit lasts until the target moves more than 700 units away or is made immune by some effect. During this tether, the target has True Sight applied to them. Some on hit effects apply every other tick, starting on the second tick. Each second uses 10% of Hal’s ‘Hextech Nightstick’s battery which recharges to full when emptied after 3 seconds or recharges to full when Hal is out of combat for 6 seconds. Minion and small monster kills recharge 5% while large monsters and kills or assists on enemy champions recharge 25%. ‘Torch’ cannot critically strike.


Q: Trick Shot: Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8: Range: 900 - 1800

Hal fires a skillshot in a line that deals damage to minions in a line but stops upon hitting a large monster or champion. It can ricochet off of a surface and travel a refreshed distance to a new target. This ricocheted projectile prioritizes the nearest champion to hit within a small area, modifying its damage as well as slowing by 40% for 2 seconds.

Trick Shot deals 25/40/55/70/85 + (80% AD) physical damage and can critically strike.

Ricocheted Damage: Deals 5/6/7/8/9% of the target’s maximum health + (80% AD) over 2 seconds.


W: Searchlight: Cooldown: 30/27/24/21/18: Range: 1500 3 Charges

Hal calls in to his Police Blimp to shine a spotlight at a certain coordinate. After a 1.5 second delay, a 500 radius circle of vision is granted. An inner circle with a radius of 250 stuns all champions for 1.25 seconds if hit


E: Brew a Pot: Cooldown: 15/13/11/9/7: Range: Self

Hal channels briefly for .5 seconds as he pours himself a cup of coffee. Over the next 5 seconds he restores 8/11/13/17/20% missing health calculated at the time of the channel and 10/20/30/40/50 health + (60% AP)


R: Shoot First: Cooldown: 120/100/80: Range: 2000/2500/3000

Hal calls in for gas canisters as he pursues a target, cloaking a large area in the fog of war for all champions for a duration of 5/6/7 seconds. During that time, normal means of granting vision do not work, but attacking an enemy champion with ‘Torch’ and ‘Searchlight’ both work. When and if Hal gains vision of an enemy champion, he can fire a straight line skillshot a distance of 2000 by activating ‘Shoot First’ a second time. This shot deals 200/300/400 + (80% AD) + (80 AP) physical damage and slows by 99% for 1.5 seconds.

Q and W is that one fire archer guy from Smite; the worst part is they were in that order in Smite too. His ultimate is literally just Nocturne's ultimate but without a dash. Original concept please, League of Legends doesn't want any of Smite's stuff.
