ABILITIES

PASSIVE Corrosion

  • Yadec feeds off of the decaying corpses of the dead. He restores 2% of his Maximum Health upon killing a Minion, Monster, or Enemy Champion. Killing or Assisting a Kill on an Enemy Champion will also reduce all of his ability cooldowns by 3 seconds.

Q Disrepair

  • Yadec summons a Zone of wilting Roses and dying grass. All enemies who stand within the Zone takes 160/220/280/340/400 (+75% AP) magic damage over 5 seconds. (Damage Ticks occur every 1/2 second)
  • If the enemy remains within the Zone when the 5 seconds are up, all enemies inside will be rooted for 1/1.2/1.5/1.7/2 seconds. Cost: 30/40/50/60/70 Health Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds Type: 600-Diameter Circular Zone Range: 1000

W Deteriorate

  • Yadec curses a Target Enemy, damaging them for 20/60/100/140/180 (+20% AP) magic damage and reducing their Movement Speed by 30/40/50/60/70% for 2 seconds. Cost: 40/50/60/70/80 Health Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds Type: Target Range: 750

E Decompose

  • Yadec releases a trail of decay within a Skillshot line. This trail can pass through enemies, dealing 70/110/150/190/230 (+60% AP) magic damage to each enemy hit.
  • After 1 second, the Trail will begin to glow Pitch Black, and the trail will linger for 3 seconds. Any enemy who walks in the darkness for 1 second will be inflicted with "Decomposition", in which they will take 3% of their Max HP as damage per second for 5 seconds in total.
  • Yadec can re-activate this ability while the Trail is still active to warp to the end of the trail for no extra Health cost. Warping to the end of the trail will cause it to vanish immediately. Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Health Cooldown: 22/20/18/16/14 seconds Type: Linear Range: 850

R Beginning of the End

  • Yadec absorbs the power of rot from across the land, rapidly healing himself for 200/350/500 (+65% AP) Health over 5 seconds. (Ticks per 1/2 second)
  • During this time a large field will generate around him, which will damage all enemies who step inside for 300/500/700 (+20% AP) magic damage over 5 seconds. (Ticks per 1/2 second)
  • Those still inside the Field when the 5 seconds are over are inflicted with Decomposition and their Movement Speed is reduced by 20/40/60% for 3 seconds. Cost: No Cost Cooldown: 150/130/100 seconds Type: Self Diameter of Field: 1000

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

  • His Biggest Strength and possibly even his Biggest Weakness would be the lack of Mana, and the usage of Health. What's good is that you won't have to worry about having to go OOM and return to Shop for Mana Potions. On the other hand. you WILL possibly experience OOH, in which utilizing him correctly may be quite difficult if you are an Ability Spammer.
  • His High Damage outputs make him especially dangerous if you're not careful. He can be outrunned easily, however, if he does try to make due with you.
  • On the other hand, his Slows offer him a chance of hindering your chance to escape entirely.
  • Even with his tanky-ness, he is pretty easy to kill. Pressure is one of his greatest weaknesses, and combined with his poor Magic Resistance and slow Movement Speed, if you're not careful, you will most likely die many times.
  • Utilizing his E can save you in many situations, however. The teleport upon the Second Activation is a godsend considering his poor mobility.
  • He is a very unique Mage at that. His R can bring you back into the battle and live to fight another day. A well-placed Ultimate could turn the tides of a duel, and his Status Ailment, Decomposition, is a great tool for executing enemies with low health.
  • He is very good at Zone Control, and is excellent during Late-game Teamfights.
  • Some of his big weaknesses are his weak performance during the Laning Phase, susceptibility to Ganks, and susceptibility to Assassinations.

RECOMMENDED BUILDS

Best Summoner Spells: summoner 4 summoner 21

Best Masteries: <a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=15dxe1v" target="_blank"><img src="http://i57.tinypic.com/15dxe1v.png" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

Best Runes:

Mark: Armor Seal: Health Glyph: Magic Penetration Quintessence: Health

Best Items: I couldn't think of an appropriate build, so instead I chose a big compilation of possible items that would be good of Yadec.

Starting Items: item 1028 or item 1052 (Doran's Ring is useless on him because he lacks Mana)

Other Important and Good Items: item 3157 (Essential. He's too killable early on, so this might as well be the very first thing you build.) item 3001 item 3285 item 3151 item 3116 item 3152 item 3089 (AP is the only thing he Scales, so these would be good choices for him.) item 3145 (Lifesteal and Spellvamp are vital for him. He needs Health to cast spells anyways.) item 3020 (Obvious Mage boot choice) item 3255 or item 3259 (He's painfully slow, so he'll need a bit of a boost. Either on of these will do. Distortion would also be helpful, but situational.)

TIDBITS

Appearance: Looks absolutely hideous. A big, slightly brownish yellow Skull with bits and pieces of grey skin. He is missing a left eye and the other eye is bloodshot and dangling from the socket. He has dry, brittle hair that only covers the left side of his head, and even then a few clumps of hair are missing. He lacks a tongue, is missing teeth, and the only visible teeth are yellow and black.

His body is an entire clump of dead, decaying corpses. Some are even still alive, digging at the floor, trying to escape their suffering. Yadec himself has a hunched back. In the front of his body are two big skeletal arms, with clumps of grey, decaying skin on them. He has 1 wing on his back that is completely skeletal, and the bones are yellow and brown. He can't even walk, instead he can only slide on the ground with his mass of bodies.

Voice Idea: His voice is extremely deep, menacing, and terrifying. It echoes. His voice sounds dry as if he was dying... slowly. It sounds elderly. The echo has two layers, one being his normal voice in an echo, the second one being a demonic variation of background jibberish. He always sounds serious, and most of the times, insidious.

And so that is it! Feel free to post feedback below!

Also, anyone who's willing to make Art of this champion will be credited. It would be greatly appreciated!

I also recently made a lazy sketch of him. Artists are welcome to get their ideas from here and work off of it!
