Concept for a Possible Future Shaco Rework!
Passive: Backstab: Autoattacking an enemy unit from behind causes the autoattack to ignore 10/13/16/19/22/25 flat armor and 10/14/18/22/26/30% armor for that attack only and slows them by 70/75/80/85 percent for 0.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds. This attack places a "Backstabbed" mark on the target, causing them to be unable to be backstabbed again for another 6 seconds.
Q: Decieve: Shaco blinks to a target location, entering stealth and causing the next autoattack to deal 15/25/35/45/55 (+.35 Bonus AD) physical damage. If Shaco meets eyes with an enemy champion in a 650 range, he remains in the Decieve state, but becomes visible until 0.5 seconds after he is revealed this way.
Range: 450 (Circle Skillshot) Mana Cost: 80 mana Cooldown: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 Seconds after exiting stealth
W: Jack in the Box: Shaco places a posessed box at a target location and lasts for 60 seconds. When an enemy comes in 275 units, the box springs out, laughing at enemy units. Enemies in this radius are taunted until the box is destroyed. The box is destroyed after 1 autoattack. When the box is destroyed, it explodes, dealing 50/75/100/125/150 (+0.8 AP) magic damage in a 400 radius (800 radius total). Minions/monsters in the explosion radius take 20% bonus damage from Shaco for 4 seconds. These boxes are now visible, but stealth upon Shaco not being visible to enemy champions.
Range: 400 (Circle Skillshot) Mana Cost: 60 mana Cooldown: 11/10.5/10/9/5/9 Seconds
E: Two-Shiv Poison: Shaco throws a spinning dagger at a target enemy champion, dealing 75/115/155/195/235 (+ 0.9 bonus AD) (+0.8 AP) physical damage and. Two-Shiv Poison deals 40% more damage and slows enemies equal to 80% of their missing health for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds to targets marked with "Backstabbed" to a minimum of a 20/25/30/35/40% slow.
Range: 650 (Targeted) Mana Cost: 80 mana Cooldown: 11/10/9/8/7 Seconds
Ultimate: Hallucinate: Passive: Shaco can only cast Hallucinate when not visible to enemy champions. For each rank in Hallucinate, Shaco's "revealed" range is reduced by 50. Active: Shaco vanishes from existence for 0.5 seconds, then creates a clone of himself (this does not break Shaco's stealth) that explodes into shivs, dealing 150/300/450 (+0.6 AD) (+0.9 AP) physical damage to enemies in a 300 radius (600 total) as soon as Shaco becomes visible to enemy champions. This clone deals 75% of Shaco's damage and takes 50% bonus damage. This clone deals 50% damage to towers and inhibitors. This clone also copies Shaco's buffs and auras. (Youmuu's anyone?) Shaco's new clone now blinks behind a target if you press R while the clone is active and attacks them, dealing 90% of Shaco's normal damage to the target for this attack only; all subsequent attacks having the usual damage reduction. This does NOT break the real Shaco's stealth!
Mana Cost: 100 mana Cooldown: 55/50/45 seconds
These changes are aimed at bringing a healthier, more satisfying playstyle to Shaco. His new passive is now more of a burst, complimenting the bonus damage on his new Decieve.
The interaction with enemy champions added with Shaco's invisibility/visibility in his Decieve gives Shaco a riskier overall playstyle. With more risk comes more reward! Once he gets that bonus damage on his Decieve autoattack with a Backstab bonus, Ziggs won't be the only champion blowing things up (I can't believe I just said that).
The box taunt gives it a better ability to catch people out, while making Shaco's escaping not as fool-proof. On top of that, Shaco's overall mood and playstyle just warrants a taunt and everyone knows it.
Now his new E! No more permaslows! :) (or :( for evil people like me who abuse the permaslow) Since there is no more permaslow, we can add some stuff on it, like additional damage on targets marked with backstab! The overall damage on non-Backstabbed targets is overall lower, leading to punishment for people who don't use Shaco's passive properly.
Now my personal favorite: the ultimate changes. Giving restrictions on when his ult can be used allows for more freedom as to when you can actually blow the clone up, allowing the clone to be used not only for being a nuisance or potential dueling power, but for burst as well! The ability for the clone to be able to dash and backstab a target gives Shaco even higher outplay potential, as Shaco players can get REALLY creative with this new change for bursting, like Decieving, Hallucinating, blinking the clone to an enemy champion, backstabbing them, then finishing the combo off with a Shiv for the kill.
Let me know what you all think! Shaco's been one of my favorite champs since I first tried him and I want to see him thrive, but I also want to see him improving in terms of gameplay health. Don't worry too much about numbers, as they can be adjusted accordingly. I just want to know if there are flaws in the overall kit that can be improved.
