Elemental Drakes kinda inspired me to think more about upper part of map. Since TT is going away... Can we have Vilemaw to visit Rift? Maybe he will spawn before Baron in his pit - make everything webby and only after killing him Baron will be able to spawn... and since he will be one-kill-only give him environmental change similar to drakes. Maybe some webs would spawn in the world slowing enemies that move thro them.

According to card in LoR he can burrow under the world and appear anywhere he wishes and is not bound to creepy land (at least not to the point where he cant visit outside world).

Vilemaw post Twisted Treeline Removal We don't have any concrete plans yet but I do want to share that we're discussing possible ways to use Vilemaw in other game modes. Not sure yet about where that might be, could be things like an alternative to Baron on SR in some circumstances, a late game boss in TFT, a boss for an event game mode etc. Assuming we do find a good fit could also be quite a while before we had the right time to add Vilemaw to one or more of those modes. It's the sort of change we'd want to introduce in a preseason, a new TFT set, or an event mode that had a strongly matching theme, so the right opportunity might not come along for a while. . All very speculative basically, but wanted to mention we agree with the feedback that there's a lot of potential from using Vilemaw somewhere else so are looking into it."

I agree, while I personally don't have a care in the world for TT, I do think this creature should be saved and brought to the rest of the game, it would be a waste.

Another alternative idea I've heard is maybe once Riot finally understand that we all enjoyed Nexus Blitz, they can bring that gamemode back with Vilemaw being the main monster of that map.

If Riot removes Vilemaw then they will have removed the most interactive fight in the game, mind you. Although with the direction they're going this might be the exact thing they want.

Make Baron and Vilemaw rng between each other's spawns in the top-side boss-pit. Baron Nashor awards the team that slays them enhanced recall and powerful minions. Vilemaw could weaken nearby enemy minions and summon 1 "Spawn of Vilemaw" on each lane. Kinda like a more durable Tibbers. (Inspiration from playing Abathur on the Raven Lord's map in Heroes of the Storm. His second heroic ability plus the Curse of the Raven Lord effect)

As an Elise main and a huge fan of everything related to spiders I'd be really sad to see him gone forever. I really like him even though I had to kill him for the buff. He's a cool God in the lore, I wish he even existed IRL tbh, now that might sound "edgy" but I like him. I wonder how they would add Vilemaw, would he appear randomly on SR games instead of baron and give even better buffs or what if they instead of adding those weird new corners on top and bot added one new spot for him somewhere in jungle, I have no idea I just don't want him to go away.

Adding him in TFT maybe but I couldn't care less for TFT, keep him in the regular game better.

I'd say he should spawn after maybe 50 min. Just buff him and make him a super-boss for if the game is reeeally dragging out. Honestly, vilemaw was always my favorite anything in the game, next to Neeko, but Neeko is new.

I hope they'll at least make something to remember him by... he's the one that turned Elise, after all.

O yeah, now everyone says "save Vilemaw this.... save Villemaw that..."

But NO ONE said "Save Ebonmaw" when HE was removed from the game.

Spiders are dumb, Dragons are better.

I still think they should do a summoners rift skin for Halloween based around twisted treeline and make vilemaw baron

I agree add him to the rift! Thats an aweomse idea. But maybe make him wader the jungle and seek out jungle creeps. He webs them wraps them up over time and then eats them leaving their bodies behind as bones and every 10 seconds that vilemaw is in an area he spawns a new bumber web spot in an area according to his spawn level. He has his own respawn timer.
