Kain - The Holy Glaiver

Kain is a man who utilizes his twin glaives to shred enemies from a distance or in close melee range. How you build him is up to you.

P - Killing Stance

  • If the target is within melee range (0 < 150 range), the Glaiver's 3rd attacks arc, dealing 110% to original target, 40% damage to targets 50 degrees to either side of the original target. The targets struck by the arc arent affcted by on-hit effects.
  • If the target is outside melee range (150 < 600), the Glaiver's 3rd attacks explode upon impact, dealing 110% damage to the original target, and targets struck by the explosive effect take 25% damage.

1 - Spinning Flames

  • The Glaiver spins her glaives around herself 3 times, dealing 20/35/50/65/80 (+0.4 Attack Damage) per spin to all targets hit (60/105/150/195/240 (1.2 Attack Damage) maximum damage). The Glaiver spins these over 1.2 seconds while in the melee Killing Stance, however spins them over 2 seconds while in the ranged Killing Stance. The range of the spinning glaives depends on the Killing Stance of the Glaiver.

2 - Flaming Glaives

  • The Glaiver passively enchances his glaives with the power of holy flames, causing them to deal 8/16/24/32/40 (+0.25 bonus Attack Damage) bonus magic damage on hit and to reduce armour on-hit by 2.0/2.5/3.0/3.5/4.0%. The bonus magic damage and armour reduction stacks up to 3 times. The level of Flaming Glaives also improves the Glaiver's Killing Stance, causing his melee arc and ranged explosive strikes damage to be improved, giving the attacks an extra 5/10/15/20/25% bonus magic damage on top of their previous damage (Melee arc is now 40% physical damage, 5/10/15/20/25% magic damage. Ranged explosive strikes now 25% physical damage, 5/10/15/20/15% magic damage.)

3 - Tracks Of Fire

  • The Glaiver throws his glaives at a target location, embedding them in the ground, dealing 60/100/140/180/220 (+0.5 Attack Damage) physical damage to any enemy struck within a small AoE and stunning them for 1.5 seconds. The Glaiver can then activate Tracks Of Fire again within 4 seconds to cause his glaives to return, ripping up the ground as it returns and dealing 40/65/90/115/140 (+0.35 Attack Damage) physical damage to any enemy struck on its journey and slowing them by 30/35/40/45/50% that decays over 2 seconds.

U - The Cleansing

  • The Glaiver jumps high up into the air and comes crashing down at a location after a .75 second delay. Upon landing he shatters the ground, causing fissures to start spewing fire up from the ground in a 900 AoE from point of impact, dealing 100/150/200 (+1.0 Attack Damage) physical damage to all enemies on impact and causing the fissures to deal 25/60/95 (+0.5 Attack Damage) magic damage per second. The damage over time occurs every half-second, and the AoE lasts up to 5 seconds.

Lore: The Solari are a society devoted to the worshipping of the sun, leaving behind the weapons of war for a life of peace and devotion. In their teachings it was said that the Solari was formed by a warrior who could harness the power of the sun and bring its might down upon it's enemies in combat. Over time the teachings of the Solari haave stayed the same, but the bloodline of this great warrior have been watered down until almost all trace of a direct bloodline have been lost.

It was the Solari who found a small boy, pillaging their food stores that had been robbed day after day. Upon capturing the boy, they pulled him outside upon where he unleashed a burst of blinding light. The Solari, recovering from the unexpected burst of light, found the boy unconscious on the ground, his skin glowing from the burst that had lit up the grounds. The Solari brought the boy inside, and when he woke up, told the boy of their ways and teachings and enouraged him to say and learn.

Kain grew from the small street urchin into a young man, devoting his life to the men and women of the Solari who saved him. Even still, the curiosity of his old life carried through to his new one, and upon the reach of night he donned his mantle in the pursuits of exploration. One night, many suns after his integration into the revered society, he happened upon the ruins of an ancient temple. Finding his way inside, he followed through to a large chamber, and in the centre of the chamber glistened the golden metal of two glaives embedded within a glistening stone. Try as he might, he could not pull the glaives from the stone.

His frustration bioled over, and from his body emitted the same light that changed his life all those moons ago. The light engulfed the stone, causing it to melt down and disappear under the assault of Kain's glow. The glaives, now free from their entrapment, were snapped up by the now dimmer Kain, who retreated from the temple with haste. Little did he know that he ran straight past the sigils that signaled this temple as one of the Solari's.

Upon Kain's return he was greeted by several members of the Solari, all looking down upon him. He reluctantly showed them the glaives, whereupon the Solari angrily explained Kain's transgression: he had enterred the ancient temple of the Solari where only the highest of Solari were permitted to enter. The punishment was simple: execution or exile.

Little did Kain realise the legend behind the temple: that only one of pue descent could break the stone and free the weapons. He who could free the weapons would be the champion the Solari had been looking for. Opting for exile, the Solari threw Kain out from their enlightened society, but not before handing the ancient weapons back to Kain.

Kain wandered down from Targon's Peak with no purpose, no idea what to do with the weapons and responsibility he had been given. On the slopes of Mt. Targon, he found out from Rakkor warriors that the Solari's champion, Leona, had left a few moons ago to fight for the Solari in the League Of Legends. Kain took up the path of the Solari's chosen warrior and trained himself over many suns. By the time he thought himself ready, he departed for the League Of Legends, seeking to learn what purpose his life, and the ancient glaives, had for him

Haha that is true, but it's completely the choice of the enemy whether they want to fight within the area or run to try draw him out of his advantage. Woould be an awesome combo, was thinking he'd be a good combo with someone like Nautilus who can pull them in and hold them down while he throws out the damage, since his cc is limited.
