Champion Concept: Spark - The Tinkering Imp
I'd like to introduce a new race to the league: the Imp. My character is going to be one of the imps and they are going to live a secluded area somewhere near Bandle City. Perhaps called Piston City a.k.a. the Junkyard. For some physical description, think of little goblins the size of yordles with pointed noses and a somewhat mischievous personality. Maybe he could look a little bit like the alien "Jury Rigg" from Ben 10.
Spark - The Tinkering Imp
Role: Assassin/Mage
**Type: ** Melee
Abilities:
Passive - Tinkerer's Spirit: Spark gains charges of Static. These charges max out at 5 and a charge is acquired everytime Spark kills a unit. Once he reaches 5 charges, his next 5 basic attacks consume a charge each and will deal bonus damage equal to 10/15/20(+0.15AP). When the effect is active, Spark cannot gain any charges.
Alternatively, once he reaches 5 charges, his next ability becomes CHARGED and has bonus effects.
**Q - Electric Discombobulator: **
Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8sec
Mana Cost: 55/60/65/70/75 mana
Spark throws out an Electric Discombobulator that lands in an area after a 1 second delay and explodes, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+0.6AP) damage, slowing enemies in the blast radius by 20% and stunning those in the centre. (150 unit radius)
**CHARGED: **Spark throws out a CHARGED Discombobulator with a larger Blast radius instead that explodes, dealing 100/140/180/220/260 (+0.7AP) stuns all enemies caught inside. (250 unit radius)
W - Ticking Fuse:
Cooldown: 0.5sec
Mana Cost: 40/45/50/55/60 mana
Spark places a Ticking Fuse on the ground that last 3 minutes and grants vision in a small area. If an enemy champion walks by a ticking fuse, it latches onto them and follows them for 10 seconds, dealing 10/15/20/25/30 (0.05AP) damage per second. Spark gains 1 fuse every 18/16/14/12/10secs, can store a maximum of 5 fuses, and only one can latch onto each champion at one time.
**CHARGED: **Spark can directly attach a fuse to an enemy champion that deals 20/30/40/50/60 (0.07AP) damage per second to them.
E - Short Circuit:
Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10sec
Mana Cost: 30/40/50/60/70 mana
Spark can cause his ticking fuses to short circuit, causing them to explode and deal damage to any enemies caught in the blast radius. Ticking fuses on enemy champions also explode, dealing 40/80/120/160/200 (+0.4AP) true damage to them. (150 unit radius)
**CHARGED: **Spark can throw a short circuited ticking fuse into an area, instantly exploding and dealing 80/120/160/200/240 (+0.6AP) true damage in the blast radius. (200 unit radius)
R - EQUIP: MechSuit:
Cooldown: 100/90/80sec
Mana Cost: 100/120/140 mana
Spark Temporarily equips his Mechsuit for 10 seconds, giving him 20/40/60 increased Attack Damage and Ability Power and causing his basic attacks to electrocute enemies for 20/30/40 (+0.2AP). He also instantly gains 5 charges of Static.
**CHARGED: **His suit becomes empowered with energy, giving him 30/60/90 increased Attack Damage and Ability Power and causing his basic attacks to electrocute enemies for 30/40/50 (+0.3AP) instead. He still gains 5 charges of Static.
Lore: Inventors had made their mark in many places across Valoran but few were less well-known than those of Piston City. Known to most as "The Junkyard", due to the fact that waste and spare parts were sent there from many different place, people expected it be a place full of primitive troglodytes or even more likely; abandoned. However Piston City was far from that.
It was home to a race of resourceful creatures, known as imps, who had made their home amongst the waste and ruin. They thrived by making use of all the waste and spare parts and converted a former junkyard into a bustling city. However people from the outside had no clue about this and continued to dismiss rumours that "The Junkyard" was worth visiting.
Only Ezreal was curious enough to find out if those rumours were true. When he finally ended up at Piston City as a result of his travels, he was surprised by what he saw. This was no junkyard, but a bustling metropolis full of futuristic technology that rivalled even the great city of Piltover itself. He met many imps in the city but one such imp took his fancy. His name was Spark, an imp considered to be somewhat of a genius due to the enormous strides he had made in defence and weapons development and he had become the self-proclaimed leader of the city. Amazed by the creativity he saw in Spark, Ezreal suggested that he join the League of Legends and make a name for himself and the imps of Piston City, in order to prove to Runeterra that the imps were just as great as anyone else.
"I think Piston City doesn't get the attention it deserves, and I'm going to Spark the people's interest" - Spark at his League judgement.
N.B. Spark is Chaotic Good, he's like your annoying little cousin. Spark is ultimately a good person but he likes to mess with others and annoy people.
