Star Guardian Head Cannon
Alright bear with me. I might be grasping at straws, but for those who don't know, there's new SG skins coming out. Rakkan, Xayah, Neeko, and Zoe.

There's several interesting things, but I'm only gonna touch on a few points. Three of these new SG skins look "corrupted" while Neeko looks like she's popped out of the second gen of star guardians; not only that but the background of her splash art IS the second gen team. I wondered about this. Then I wondered about why the difference in costume design between her and the other three.
In second gen, we learn that Ahri's whole point to becoming a star guardian is that she wants to protect OTHER star guardians. In the beginning of her video she shows these three burnt out gems. Three star guardians in this NEW line are "corrupt" while Neeko looks like she's from season two of SG. So I'm wondering if these three burnt gems are all that's left of Rakkan, Xayah, and Zoe. One gem blue, one green, one gold.
Xayah's attack colors are green in the PBE. Zoe is blue. and Rakkan is gold originally. I assume at the end of their life, these colors can change much like the colors of a dying star. I don't think the star guardians are corrupted.
I think this is what a star guardian looks like before they burn out. Taking a look at Rakkan's recall? It's kinda terrifying and fits the idea. And why WOULDNT Ahri keep a hold of them? They're ALL Vestayan.
The other idea, is that Rakkan and Xayah are ACTUALLY one gem. Every other skin these two have COMPLIMENT each other in some way, while these are very similar visually. Which would mean Zoe is the blue gem, Rakkan/Xayah is the green gem, and Neeko is the yellow gem.
Could be looking too much into it. But I've been waiting for this story to answer the question of WHO those other guardians were that Ahri had possession of.
