Top 3 Issues with Honors

Here's what I think.

Visually the new honor system has been very exciting. I like that this system is getting its own rework and that there's a more pronounced emphasis on honorable game play. But there's several flaws (as to be expected) in the new set up.

  1. **I don't like that I can't honor my opponents. ** This is very frustrating. I've played against some incredible players with no way of being able to reward them for outstanding behavior or for creating a challenging game. On the same note, I also don't like that I can only honor one person on my team. I get why its in place, because without it, the system would be a bit tilted; but it takes more than one person to create a well playing team. The fact that only one person was friendly or made good shots is... Well just wrong. I'd assume that the system would be set in a way that individual roles could really be honored.

  2. Gotta pick before the final game screen. Honoring an opponent is timed once you leave the end of game screen. So not only can you pick just one person, but you need to be quick. Granted its a fair wait before it boots you to the final results. But still. I hate that I can't think about it afterwards, or change my mind. I've had it happen where someone was a great team player, but once I honored them and got to the chat, I saw they were being rude and toxic. What a waste.

  3. **No visible progress bar. ** This was something brought up by someone in another post, and the more I thought about it, the more I agreed. There's no progress bar as to where you are in your honors. Apparently everyone starts at Level 2. I guess I might be wrong. But I thought that the emblem on your profile page changes visibly as you level. The smoke from the emblem gets larger and the gold ring that surround its fills up brighter. Once that ring is filled you level. This is what I assume from what I THINK I've seen. But if my assumption is correct, its happening at such small increments, its still debatable. And not really all that satisfying.

Those for me, are the top three. I'm just a filthy casual though. So. Take it all with a grain of salt Rito.

Riot hasn't implemented the ability to honor opponents yet, but they will in the future after they see how the current system goes.

I don't like that I can't honor my opponents.

i agree with this, shouldn't have same label but... it should still be an option.

So not only can you pick just one person, but you need to be quick.

Its legit... but

this happen... sadly.

No visible progress bar.

no need. The goal of honor is to keep a constant good attitude.

Ever since the new system came out, I feel like my games have been way more positive than before. There have been multiple times recently where I really wanted to honor my whole team, but was unable to. That and the ability to honor opponents are the only things I would really like the new system to have.

My main concern is going to be the dodging that starts when you inevitably become able to figure out what honor rank a player is.

Anyone else who's got suggestions please, also post here. I'd be interested to see other takes on this.

Edit I've gotten four honors in the last hour. I'm not sure that the icon visibly changes at all. So I take back what I said earlier.
