Evelynn - The Widowmaker

Primary Role: Assassin Secondary Role: Mage

Recommended Lane: Jungle

Abilities: Innate Ability: Malicious Intent First Ability: Umbra Strike Second Ability: Malevolence Third Ability: Spiteful Impalement Ultimate Ability: Shadow Shift

Innate Ability: Malicious Intent

[Passive]: Evelynn gains bonus movement speed when moving towards an enemy champion with lower current health % than herself that is within 800 range of her. The bonus movement speed is +1% for every 4% more current health Evelynn has over the target. This bonus movement speed is doubled (1% for every 2% more current health Evelynn has over her target) while Evelynn is out of combat.

First Ability: Umbra Strike

[Active]: Evelynn targets a 180 degree cone in front of her. Range of the cone is 150. She swipes in the area instantly with shadow-empowered claws, dealing 40/50/60/70/80 (+0.3/0.35/0.4/0.45/0.5 Attack Damage, +0.4/0.45/0.5/0.55/0.6 Ability power) magic damage to all enemies struck. She may use this ability while moving without stopping.

Cooldown: 1.5 seconds at all ranks. Mana Cost: 12/16/20/24/28 mana.

Second Ability: Malevolence

[Passive}: Hitting an enemy champion with Umbra Strike lowers the cooldown of this ability by 1 second. Upon Evelynn getting a kill or assist, the cooldown of this ability is reset.

[Active]: Evelynn can activate this ability to empower her next Umbra Strike or Spiteful Impalement within 6 seconds. When used, the ability will slow all enemies struck by 38/46/54/62/70% for 0.75 seconds. If an enemy champion is struck, the cooldown of Shadow Shift is lowered by 35% if that ability is already on cooldown.

Cooldown: 12 seconds at all ranks. Mana Cost: 30 at all ranks.

Third Ability: Spiteful Impalement

[Active]: Evelynn targets a 75 degree cone in front of her. Range of the cone is 400. After a 0.5 second delay, spikes erupt forward from the ground to impale all enemies struck. Enemies take 80/120/160/200/240 (+0.35 Attack Damage, +0.65 Ability Power) magic damage. For every enemy champion or monster struck, Evelynn gains a 20/35/50/65/80 hit point shield to absorb damage that lasts for up to 3 seconds.

Cooldown: 14/12.5/11/9.5/8 seconds. Mana Cost: 65 at all ranks.

Ultimate Ability: Shadow Shift

[Passive]: Evelynn gains this ability at level 1, and it can be upgraded at levels 6, 11, and 16.

[Active; Level 1]: Evelynn phases out of sight over 1 second, then becomes invisible for up to 6 seconds.

[Level 6]: Evelynn releases an area of effect shadowwave when she enters and exits stealth that slows enemies struck by 30% for 1.5 seconds. Invisibility increased to 8 seconds.

[Level 11]: Both instances of Evelynn's shadowwave deals 60 (+0.4 Ability Power) magic damage to all enemies struck while slowing them by 30% for 1.5 seconds. Invisibility increased to 10 seconds.

[Level 16]: When entering stealth, enemies hit by Evelynn's shadowwave will take 7.5% of the their current health in magic damage (Minimum of 80 (+0.5 Ability Power). When exiting the stealth, enemies hit by Evelynn's shadowwave will take 7.5% of their missing health in magic damage **(Minimum of 80 (+0.5 Ability Power) **. Enemies hit are slowed by 30% for 1.5 seconds. Invisibility increased to 12 seconds.

Cooldown: 25/22/19/16 seconds after leaving stealth. Mana Cost: 55/60/65/70 mana.

EDIT: Balanced the scaling on her ultimate.

You removed the permanent stealth, which is basically all Eve is known for. Also, the ult idea is utterly insane. 6.5 second CD with 45% Cdr That's 340 base at level 11 no ap 360/380/400/420 levels 12-15 And 544/568/592 16-18 That's with zero ap.

Yeah the scaling on her ulti is a bit off, sorry about that. The cooldown will start after the stealth ends, and the shorter cooldown was the aim. What do you think of the mechanics as a whole though?

And Perma-stealth eve is what she is known for right now, but she wasnt always perma-stealth eve. She started off that way, then her invis was timed and shortened, then it was perma again to what it is now. What eve is known for is invisiblity in general, not **perma-**invisibility. This concept is stil in keeping with that theme

This is true on the ultimate point, and I feel like you tried to force Eve into a rework. It's hard to explain it, but every ability she has reflects her current state, q spam, w reset(no gapcloser though), e is ult shield, ult is passive and %hp damage... Im not trying to be overly negative, I'm just trying to give Eve the attention she deserves. I know a LOT of people who have tried to make Eve reworks, including myself, and it's just a general consensus that she has all her current tools for whatever reason.

Oh sorry! Don't get me wrong, I'm not forcing her into a rework. I just want to give a different take on her that people might enjoy reading. I kept most of her original kit in places, such as her old ultimate being scaled down into an E, Q is still a spam ability, W is still a reset ability of a different value. She does have some changes though, to help her close the gap more reliably than now and to help stick to your targets with her W and R engage. Oh and even though it says % hp damage, it is still magic damage in the end. Meaning that if they decided to build magic resist, that 7.5% would be a lot less in reality.

She may have all the current tools now, but she is well underplayed all the same. Besides, this is just a different take on Eve, not a replacement by any means!
