I love Ahri and I believe she is one of the top tier mid lane champs right now.
But does anyone know the process in how Riot creates skins. (I'm pretty sure they explained this somewhere, just a little lazy to find it.)
Like is it random or by high demands from the fans or anything else?
Just because you consider her a top tier mid lane champion does not make her the only candidate for a championship skin. Same applies to the Victorious Skin. If she fits the criteria of being a dominate pick even in competitive play then sure. But that only makes her one candidate out of others to get it. Popularity of a champion or skin does not guarantee anything.
Only champions that are played and/or banned often during the seasonal splits are what usually consider the outcome of the Victorious & Championship skins.
If anything though, one of those next reward esque skins should be an ADC cause they need one.
