Proposition for Volibear Rework
To preface this I must say that I haven't played much Volibear. I only have M6 but what I have played I really enjoy. I think that Volibear's identity as a tank that slips in and out of fights to flip targets into his team, while also being a strong spit pusher is great. In my excitement I came up with a really bear bones idea for how to rework him. To put it simply, put his passive on his ultimate, and his Q on his passive. This solves one of the major issues of Volibear, his extremely telegraphed attacks. I also gave him a new Q that I think works lightning into his kit in a much more meaningful way. I also took the opportunity to change his W. As fun as it can be to execute squishies from 800 hp, it is pretty unfun to play against. Instead I made it a dash to allow him to reposition around his new Q and passive.
Volibear The Thunder's Roar
Passive - Rolling Charge Every 14-5(based on level) seconds Volibear's next basic attack against a champion flips them behind him.
Q - Lightning's Call Volibear roars at a target enemy, marking their current location and slowing by 30/35/40/45/50% for 2 seconds. After 2 seconds lightning strikes at the marked location, dealing 30/60/90/120/150(+60% Ability Power) magic damage and stunning for 1.5 seconds in a area.
W - Frenzy Passive Volibear gains 9/13/17/21/25% attack speed with each attack. Stacks up to 3 times. Active When Volibear has 3 stacks of Frenzy he can leap forward, dealing 60/100/140/180/220(+10% bonus Health) physical damage to all targets along the way, stopping on the first enemy champion hit.
E - Majestic Roar Volibear lets out a powerful roar that deals 60/105/150/195/240(+60% Ability Power) magic damage, knocks up for 0.1 seconds, and slows by 30/35/40/45/50% for 3 seconds. Minions and monsters are instead feared and slowed by 100% for 3 seconds. Airborne or dashing champions are dealt an additional 8% of their maximum health as magic damage.
Ultimate - Chosen of the Storm Volibear heals for 30/40/50% of his Max HP over 10 seconds, gaining 20/30/40% movespeed for the duration.
I didn't spend much time on this, so I hope it wasn't too bad. Feel free to let me know your thoughts below.
