When we talk about Yorick reworks I can only think of what he will turn into. Ill elaborate. Will it be the classic necromancer, the one that stays at the distance with spells while letting his minions do his bidding? Or will it be something closer to what he was before, someone that does have minions to do their thing but is also in there smacking people? And if it is the 2nd option will we ever have an mage/necromancer sort of fella(like the 1st option)?
all have that 1st option's thematic, but if you want a true necromancer you can check out this concept I saw a while back.
I'd definitely prefer if they gave him the 2nd option, as it's what he's pretty well known for, but Yorick is so broken I don't even know what they're willing to keep on him. What interesting mechanics does he have that other champions don't?

From what I know, Riot are (still) planning to make Yorick into more of a Mage/Necromancer, "Undead Army" kind of guy, rather than the fighter with pets. Although I highly doubt Riot would ever go pure "stereotypical necromancer", I think its safe to say you can expect his new play style to be centered around his ghouls more than having ghouls around so you can hit things harder.
