So about Elise

By what I seen this new buffs are supposed to help her late game but they are hardly impact full at all, the extra damage and healing is barely noticeable. Will these be the only buffs for Elise? Because this alone will not make her much better than she was. The change of the healing to be a passive is appreciated though.

I don't believe the sustain was buffed at all. I have no idea why 4~10 health per hit is acceptable when 4 health from ALL spider and spiderling autos wasn't cutting it. And the .15 AP ratio doesn't make up for .04 when it comes to all autos, either. It makes basically no sense, especially since CC was already her greatest counter she couldn't overcome. Now she's more gimped than ever.

But you can tell Riot didn't really care about these buffs. They didn't even bother to fix the Rappel bug that activates at the exact same time as the new buff that was placed. Didn't anyone playtest this to find that something was off?

I think her spiderlings are bugged. It seems that after using Rappel, they jut sit around an do nothing until the buff expires. Only if I then Q onto something will they do anything.

The base healing on the passive is ridiculously low. 4/6/8/10? C'mon! It was supposed to be 5/10/15/20...

She was my S4 early season jungle queen... after the nerfs I hadn't touched her till the other day, tried her in a bot game. She's lackluster. Everything she does someone does better. No reason to pick her.

Scaling for her heal is awful now. What made her so good was the idea that she didn't even need to be near the opponent to heal, her spiderlings did. Take this from someone who has played Elise nonstop from her release, every nerf they gave her kept her half decent up until this one that completely ruined her. The attack speed she got from her W mixed with her heal from it and her spiderlings gave her such an advantage in top and mid, now she's not even that good in jungle, let alone a lane. She was a great 1v1 champion. Her Rappel worked great for dodging abilities in a fight but now it's a huge punish, seeing as her spiderlings don't do anything when she lands. Whatever Riot says about this patch, it was not a buff for her. The nerfed her to the ground and just about killed her off for good. Good Job, riot.

I personally hate the way her rappel is currently setup. The offensive buff you get from using it is screwing up her ability to be balanced into a good champion. They need to gut the stupid damage buff she gets from using it and throw in some damage to compensate into her regular spider form. Instead what they should do is throw in a DEFENSIVE boost that actually makes a difference. The healing boost on auto attacks is almost nothing. Given the fact that in a lot of situations she can't use rappel to escape she needs a defensive buff when coming down from rappel and a not just a little one, a huge one in her current state. Forget about building any offensive items if you're jungling her because you're going to get blown to hell before you can do much with them. A character with the limited amount of CC that she has is either supposed to be very damaging or very tanky and she is neither. She needs fixes badly.

It seems like she has 3 forms almost. Human form, spider form, and then spider form after rappel and W activated. Can we get her spider form a little more fluid considering the fact that you're already managing human and spider.

IMO she should automatically generate spiderlings after a very short amount of time either that or have her be able to generate them while in spider form. Who is going to switch out to human form because you lost all your spiderlings. Her human form could use some type of mobility. One possible change without a huge rework would be giving her W the option to teleport to that spider in spider form and explode it, the damn thing moves the speed of slow, has a high cd, and doesn't do much damage to begin with. Everyone maxes it last how about we give it some utility other than vision like most abilities which are maxed last. Instead they did the opposite and made E even more important to level up so maxing W last is almost gauranteed, meanwhile E (rappel) is the one ability that would be great if it didn't need to be leveled like it does.

Her W lasting 3 seconds is just annoying as crap. You generally get hit with some form of CC that ruins most if not all of that time to begin with. It's a garbage ability for her, in fact if they made that into something decent she might be strong enough with a change to that skill alone.

Spiders are supposed to set up webs and wait for you to walk into them to get you. Elise in almost no way resonates a spiders attributes. She certainly doesn't give off a vibe of feeding on her opponents, or lying in wait to trap them. She probably needs a rework TBH.

i was under the impression that ALL her spells gained bonus damage. ;\

when i read it closer. it only applied to her passive. which is irrelevant.

you're only dishing out what? 20 extra damage? and 10 extra heal?! at max level. that's only if you're spiderlings are even doing their job.

They wont do anything with her til 5.13 is out because of some "minor damage" buffs to ap items, meddler said it himself. The new Rune glaive isn't even good on Elise too lol. They are so blind that they cant see that it isn't helping her at all. Elise players are gonna have to suffer even longer because of this "balance" team.

You know, now that they've moved all the on-hit damage and healing directly onto Elise herself, and made it "always on" as part of her passive, the changes SEEM a bit underwhelming. But then you look at the upcoming Sated Devourer. Someone mentioned this in another thread, and I looked at what it does for her. After 30 stacks, every second autoattack applies all on-hit effects TWICE. Kind of puts things in perspective.
