JP Inspired Champion Concept

REX, The Ancient King

LORE: Eons ago in an unnamed jungle, on an unnamed continent, on an unknown planet, in an unnamed galaxy, in an unnamed universe. A small egg shook ever so slightly. Not enough to disturb its surroundings, but just enough to be noticed by the most watchful of eyes. as the day draws on the egg continues its minute motion until finally a fracture occurs in its surface, followed sharply by another, and another, until a piece of the eggs ivory white shell breaks away and falls to the dirt below. For the first time the tiny creature inside sees its first day, the air is still the sky so blue, and the warm daylight falls all around the bright eyed little beast. The young creature continues its struggle to free itself from the shell which encapsulates it. Finally after a valiant struggle the creature finds liberation and roles out of the shell and onto its belly. The ground is moist and cool the newborn lifts its head to see a cavern that seems to continue on forever. The curious creature gains its footing and steps clumsily forward stumbling over a series of sharp white stones arranged neatly in a row. A blast of warm air exits from inside the cavern startling the small animal. The earth below begins to shift gently at first but then violently in very rapid fashion. Suddenly a loud clap and darkness. A terrible stench followed by death. A thunderous roar and the sound of trees crashing to the ground echos through the jungle....a young king has tasted first blood and now he wants more.

 Years pass. The jungle is still harsh and unforgiving every step could be the end in a world of predation and death. Yet even in this world where life is about where you sit on the food chain safety lies in being at the top. The measure of a king is not what he owns but the respect he commands and none in the jungle command more respect than Rex. Though many are like him he has no equal, nothing matches his size or ferocity. He punishes not through fine or captivity but simply by consumption. If you see his teeth you, have taken your last breath. 

  In another world in another age an adolescent discovers he has the ability to bend time to his will. Young Ekko born of poverty and plagued by the pain of loss uses his new found ability to protect others and destroy malice. Ekko know of only one consequence for his actions the betterment of society. Still even the best of intentions can cause suffering for unbeknownst to the youth time is like the deepest of rivers and and dangerous things lurk in such rivers. Changing the flow of the river of time may breed unexpected consequences.  

  The light beckons a new day in the jungle Rex arises lets out a colossal roar and is interrupted by an intense flash of blue-green light followed by a booming crack. Rex lays on his back afraid for the first time disoriented and blind. He springs to his feet and begins to smell the air. It is sharply cold it takes his breath only for a moment,  the scent is alien to the king who knows all of his domain. His vision returns, he is surrounded by white and the blistering wind carries freezing rain into the face of the astonished king. Rex detects only a hint of a smell very familiar to him....Blood. The huge best exhales a mighty roar, stomps his massive foot and charges headlong into the snow after the taste he so deeply craves.
   With every stride the scent grows stronger until all at once the terrain changes, an open plain inhabited by corpses with two beings standing atop them clashing blades. On the left clad in great silver armor and wielding a large blade in both hands stands a brown haired man eyes locked on his foe another behemoth of a man guarded by heavy black metal holding an impressively sized axe. Rex cared not for the reason of their dispute and stepped eagerly toward drawn near by the intoxicating aroma of death. His presence does not go unnoticed however a young woman dressed in blood red and night black jumps in between Rex and the men at arms. She pulls from her back twin daggers seemingly challenging Rex she is clearly injured and i need of medical aid but she stands firm staring down the King. Rex gives her a simple glance and opens his jaw only enough that the woman sees his dagger sized teeth. Her face is over taken by a look of pure terror. Rex lunges at the fear paralyzed woman catching her in is jaws and once more the plains are stained red. 
 The men notice the scene and are flabergasted with the sight they are the first to see the monster that is both new and old.......

  Rex is an AD based resourceless Bruiser/Tank meant for Top lane and Jungle. (although his kit might allow for a fairly tanky mid lane assassin) 
 His greatest strengths lie in his ability to be a late game monster as he benefits handsomely off of his items. His weaknesses are very obvious however because he lacks any innate sustain laning against him mean shut him down asap or suffer the consequences. He draws on bullying the enemy and intimidating them into not farming by dealing rather stupendous damage at level 1 and then forcibly fearing the enemy away from their desired position.

Innate Passive: TYRANT KING If Rex has more health than an opponent he is attacking, he will do an additional 2% of his own maximum health as bonus attack damage for his basic attacks.

Q: JURASSIC BARK Cooldown: 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 seconds

Rex lets out a thundering roar fearing all targets in a cone for 1/1.2/1.5/1.7/2 seconds while granting them 8% increased movement speed for 2/2.2/2.5/2.7/3 seconds and dealing 25/30/35/40/50 (+35% bonus attack damage)

W: CRETACEOUS CHARGE Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5 seconds

Rex channels for .5 seconds then charges following the cursor gaining 5% movement speed per second as he charges ignoring unit collision for 1000 units or upon pressing W a second time after 3 seconds or upon ramming an enemy champion. Hitting an enemy champion while charging counts as a basic attack.

E: TRIASSIC BITE Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds Rex's next basic attack will deal 250% of his attack damage. if it lands a killing blow on a champion/large or epic monster it will reset and cause a 1 second Area-Of-Effect Fear for 1 second.

R MESOZOIC MONSTROSITY Passive: Rex gains 8 armor and magic resist upon each assist or kill he receives. Active: Rex doubles his Mesozoic Monstrosity bonus armor and magic resist and increases his health by 25/35/40% of his maximum health.
