[Champion Concept] Ku'ras The Keeper Of Dreams

:^D ok i drew all of this in ms paint , his name is Ku'Ras , << no meaning , i dont think ,but just a random name i made , but here we go

   Since the beginning of everyone&rsquo;s existence, both sleep, and dreams existed as well. It has been told that since the beginning , many  who were on the verge of closing their eyes and falling asleep , would briefly see a figure in the shape of a man, jumping from a cloud of black dust. As the black dust would swirl around in the air, it would slowly inch its way towards their eyes causing them to become very drowsy with blurred vision and eventually falling asleep. Many would say the last thing they saw and heard before having the sweetest dreams, was a smiling figure, and the soft whispered words of

Shhhh, I will make quiet steps on my way out, while you dream

The figure in the black dust, unknown to the beings of this world, was Ku’ras, The Keeper Of Dreams. Ku’Ras had the look of any normal man, but has existed for as long as both sleeping and dreams have. He believed his purpose for existing, was not to personally interfere with the physical lives of those who exist, but to bring forth good dreams to every being that would close their eyes, and sleep. But on rare occasions …..some would close their eyes and have nightmares of unspeakable events, this proved to be a problem for Ku’ras, things such as nightmares should not exist…..not as long as he is the keeper of dreams. So with a cloud of black dust, Ku’ras would absorb the nightmares from the sleeper’s body, into his left hand, and eventually destroy it. 1 by 1, this was his new nightly task, … he absorbed the nightmare, and granted pleasant dreams

For quite a long time, there was peace in the balance of dreams…but that didn’t last forever, eventually …night after night, day after day … the nightmares would slowly increase and consume those who had them, it was told that some would never wake up, many were afraid to fall asleep, and in the process…. lives were lost. The balance Ku’ras worked his entire existence to keep …. Shattered in an instant,

Dreams should not have the power to kill

he whispered to himself …so.. 1 by 1 , Ku’ras absorbed the nightmares into his left hand …. one nightmare after another. But before they were destroyed , he could feel the evil surging throughout his left arm, the weight of the nightmares were heavy, but they all shared something in common, pitch black darkness surrounding them ,….but a shadow even darker than the darkness itself could be seen.

No mortal should have to bare such a burden in their time of rest

Ku’ras whispered, … Over time the people dying from nightmares eventually stopped … but the nightmares themselves , increased night by night ..
For Ku’ras , the cause of the nightmares at the time was unknown,.. that was until, the day half of the population …..dreamed of the same dream .. the same nightmare, the same fears that haunted them… KKu’ras would hear the same thing over and over, from billions of dreamers all at once scream into his mind .., day after day, night after night

The cause of the nightmares … a being called , Nocturne? .. through the screaming nightmares Ku’ras could hear , he understood , the one called nocturne , was eventually sealed away … but the mark he left behind was unforgivable. Unable to bear the pain of hearing an endless cycle of countless nightmares night after night … Ku’ras did the un-dreamable , angered at both himself for letting this madness go on for this long , and the root of the problem , Nocturne …. Ku’ras released all of his power , covering the entire world in a black dust, and by the

all at once , he absorbed the nightmares into himself, and for that one night , everything went silent , because every being … was finally peacefully dreaming at the cost of easing the minds of those that give him his reason to exist ….the nightmares eventually consumed his own body, corrupting his human like appearance, into that of a nightmare itself…. Slowly the darkness of the nightmares would take over his body…but with his strong will, they did not take over his mind and spirit, … Until Ku’ras can once again find the balance within dreams, he feels that giving peaceful dreams isn’t enough, he now feels , absorbing and destroying anything that can threaten this balance he creates , is now his other purpose for existing

  • The ad scalings on attacks , i kind of based off of other ad assassins, and worked my way around the numbers , just to give an idea of damage *

Ku’ras’s natural aura of black dust causes enemies to become sleepy and dulling their movements, enemies within a 700 range has their move speed slowed by 10%

Passive – Not as scary as I look

… Ku’ras builds up a gauge of fear, after using 4 spells, his next damaging spell or auto attack on an enemy champion fears them for 1 second

Infusing his left hand with the dark energy of the nightmares he’s sealed away, Ku’ras releases the dark energy, throwing it near the enemies head, and forcing them to visually see their own nightmare. This marks the target with nightmare for 5 seconds

Enemies hit with this spell take ( 70/100/150/200/260) + (90% of bonus AD) and are slowed by 10% for 2 seconds …and after a 1 second delay…they are turned into a living nightmare for 1.5 seconds, within those 1.5 seconds… an enemy champion with the lowest hp next to them within 300 range are feared away for 1.5 seconds , If there are no enemies around , then nightmare consumes the target dealing a bonus 30% of Ku’ras’s AD

*The fear effect has a 12 second cooldown *

Mana 55/60/65/70/75 Range 900 Cooldown 6 seconds

Ku’ras dashes 400 range from a cloud of black dust for a short distance, this empowers his next auto attack to gain +350 range to use an AOE slash in a targeted direction dealing75/110/145/170/220 + (90% of bonus AD )

“Passive” Dream eater

Targets marked with “Living Nightmare, Q” Causes Ku’ras to instantly blink to the marked target within 600 range , AOE slashes them with his left hand ..dealing 85/120/155/185/230 +(90% of bonus ad) and dash back 420 range , into a targeted direction , enemies hit by this allows Ku’ras to forcibly devour the nightmare they are currently experiencing, dealing a bonus 40/50/70/120/160 + (50% of ap) as magic damage and allowing Kuras to heal over the next 5 seconds 90/120/145/200/250 (+50% of ap)

Mana 50/55/60/65/70 Cooldown 12/11/10/9/7

Ku’Ras becomes a dark cloud of dust , allowing him to phase from reality becoming just a dream….for the next 1.2 seconds Kuras gains 10% move speed and avoids all incoming damage

Mana 60/65/70/75/80 Cooldown 22 /20/18/16/14 seconds

Ku’ras dashes in the form of black dust for 1100 range, dealing 120/170/250 +(90% )of attack damage to a targeted enemy champion and marking them with shared dreams.... on impact the black dust expands dealing 100/150/180+ 30% of attack damage to surrounding enemies within a circular range of 600 and marks them with shared fears, once marked, Kuras gains a bonus 45/65/75 ad and 15/25/35% attack speed for the next 6 seconds

“Passive “ Shared fears

The first champion that kuras attackes within the next 6 seconds , spreads the fear of pain to the other marked champions , the first hit champion takes 100% of the damage , while every other marked target takes 1/5thth of the damage for the next 3 seconds

+1 for doing the art yourself and a neat concept. I might need to come back and check again, but the kit looks like it might have some number issues.

Some general comments:

The abilities themselves are uninspired, have severe issues with scaling, and hold a precarious position between insanely good and useless. Additionally, it looks as if the entire concept lost it's way mid-way through the creation as this doesn't resemble an assassin at all, but moreso a mobile bruiser minus the defense steroid. Considering how you're using mana, how is the fear bar even getting filled anyway? If it's just tacked onto there for the sake of it, what's the point? This one is definitely better than the last concept you made, but at the cost of being pretty useless in battles due to the overwhelming amount of counter-play available as opposed to having none at all. Nice job on the drawings and such but work more on the base mechanics of the champion for the next one.

So I just kind of skimmed through the lore so I won't critique anything there. First off, his "E" doesn't really come through clearly. You say the enemies dream, does that mean they are stunned, slowed? And also if its a self buff but he does something to enemies, is it a self buff, aoe ability, single target? And last critique: good God his ult seems over powered. I mean Jesus he could pretty much wipe the team! Now, as for what is good, the concept is really nice, kind of having somewhat of a parallel to Nocturne. I also like how you keep the black dust as his main theme. It's good to have a central attribute to a character. His stats seem pretty fair. He also looks really cool and some great skins could come into play. Really your only problem is some balance and a few adjusts but other than that, great job! It's a nice beginning idea and I'd love to see where you go with it. Good Luck!
