A New Morde Skin Since Mordekaiser is Relevant Now

Regardless of what you feel about the new Mordekaiser update, you can't deny that a great deal of attention has been shifted to him, which it hasn't in a while since... well, when he first came out. And considering Fiora is getting a new skin and riding on her own rise of attention, I feel that we need a new skin for Morde.

I feel now is the time to focus on something we do feel that Riot will respond to us on, whether or for or against the new changes, and that is the direction of future skins for our beloved Master of Metal.

There have been several skins for Morde, but nothing that delivers a new feel to him.

Infernal and Dragon Knight Mordekaiser make me feel that Mordekaiser keeps different armors to wear, much like we wear maybe different versions of the same type of clothing. Lord Mordekaiser is inspired by Sauron from Lord of the Rings, same with Dragon Knight Mordekaiser being a homage to Dota's Dragon Knight, so make of them what you will. Both Lord Mordekaiser and King of Clubs Mordekaiser try to give a sort of royal, authoritative feel to Mordekaiser, which does work out I guess.

And Pentakill Mordekaiser sort of defines Morde by giving him a bit more to his lore and identity beyond being a revenant, and who might be just as much man as spirit... and possibly hinting that he might care for others (Olaf, Karthus, Yorick, and most of all Sona).

I guess that, for Morde, the metal is what makes the man, or in this case.. the master.

Yet nothing beyond Pentakill Mordekaiser makes a break from his image as this supernatural colossus of magic and pain, Pentakill Mordekaiser is the only one that successfully make him seem like more than just what he is, while King of Clubs Mordekaiser only partially accomplishes this.

Thus, I want a skin that presents him in a new light, one that either breaks from what he is, or takes what he is and redefines it.

I linked one such skin, what the artist considers 'Project Mordekaiser.' And honestly, I'm not sure why this hasn't been done. Before one mentions the redundancy of having a 'Mordekaiser who wears metal' as a skin, take a look at everything he does wear, everything is a tad redundant other than Pentakill Mordekaiser, with some (Dragon Knight & Infernal Mordekaiser) being almost entirely Chromas in all but name.

Considering that Mordekaiser is the Master of Metal, and other than Pentakill Mordekaiser every skin he has will likely feature him covered head to toe in metal armor, then yes... the majority of his skins will be redundant. So what? Cars are basically the same design for the most part, but there is enough variation that people have tastes for what they like and don't.

Again, I want skins that either break from what he is, or redefines it in a certain way. A futuristic Mordekaiser skin, like with the Project or Full Metal or Battlecast skins? That is something that removes Mordekaiser from the 'supernatural' aspect of himself, and replaces it with a more science-based theme to himself, giving him a new flavor without making him lose everything he is.

Or what about something like Pool Party Mordekaiser, where you see our Master of Metal taking a break from all the fighting, clad in nothing but swim trunks, helmet (since that seems a permanent fixture), sandals, and a buoy he found for a weapon?
